According to this article from the Boston Globe, some parents have removed their children from the Cambridge, Massachusetts public school district because it has just stopped offering eighth grade students the option of taking Algebra 1. I agree with these parents for removing their children over this.
Cambridge schools are divided over middle school algebra

Martin Udengaard wants more for his son, and he doesn’t think Cambridge schools can deliver.
Cambridge Public Schools no longer offers advanced math in middle school, something that could hinder his son Isaac from reaching more advanced classes, like calculus, in high school. So Udengaard is pulling his child, a rising sixth grader, out of the district, weighing whether to homeschool or send him to private school, where he can take algebra I in middle school.
Udengaard is one of dozens of families who recently have publicly voiced frustration by a years-old decision made by Cambridge to remove advanced math classes in grades six to eight. The district’s aim was to reduce disparities between low-income children of color, who weren’t often represented in such courses, and their more affluent peers. But some families and educators argue the decision has had the opposite effect, limiting advanced math to students whose parents can afford to take private lessons, like the popular after-school program Russian Math, or find other options for their kids, like Udengaard is doing.
“The students who are able to jump into a higher level math class are students from better-resourced backgrounds,” said Jacob Barandes, another district parent and a Harvard physicist. “They’re shortchanging a significant number of students, overwhelmingly students from less-resourced backgrounds, which is deeply inequitable.”
Cambridge school leaders say they can’t re-instate the advanced math classes in middle school: Many students continue to reel from pandemic-related learning losses and are not ready to take algebra I before high school, and offering it only for those who are prepared, they say, would only widen the persistent disparities of educational performance among subgroups.
“We have a huge focus on addressing both the academic achievement gaps and the opportunity gaps in our community,” said Superintendent Victoria Greer. “One thing the district is not interested in doing is perpetuating those gaps.”
Greer said she and other district leaders are working on plans to add more elements of advanced math to the current middle school curriculum. But families are impatient and have called for a clear path back to an eighth-grade class covering all of Algebra 1. The issue, they say, is that without taking algebra I in middle school, it’s difficult for students to reach advanced classes later that would better prepare them for STEM college degrees and career paths — although not impossible because Cambridge high school students can “double-up” and take two semester-long honors math classes in a single year.
This is not the first time this debate has raged in Cambridge, and the same questions are being debated around the country. The California Board of Education, for example, is expected to pass a new state math framework that discourages eighth-grade algebra. Leaders there say the controversial measure is necessary because when the state pressured districts to offer eighth-grade algebra, many students were unprepared for the course and had to repeat it. In Dallas, on the other hand, a 2019 change that requires students to opt out of honors classes — rather than opt in — has led to 60 percent of 8th graders taking Algebra 1, triple the prior level. It was a move education leaders banked on to increase the number of historically marginalized students in advanced courses. Next door to Cambridge, Belmont also has an ongoing debate over math pathways, after the district reduced the number of options for middle school students in the 2019-2020 school year.
In Cambridge, district leaders — between 2017 and 2019 — gradually ended a policy of tracking middle schoolers into either “accelerated” or “grade-level” math, a change meant to improve outcomes for all. District leaders were alarmed by stark disparities in who was taking advanced math: those classes were overwhelmingly white and Asian, while the grade level math classes were full of Black and Latino students. Achievement gaps were stubbornly wide — and still are.
The implementation of the policy was immediately followed by the COVID-19 pandemic, making it hard to tell whether it was having an impact, as students across the country suffered academically. The pandemic also crowded the algebra debate out of the School Committee conversation for a time.
But the pandemic also prevented the new system from being fully implemented. While the middle schools stopped offering algebra for advanced students, as planned, they were unable to add aspects of the algebra curriculum to the now-universal grade eight curriculum.
Years later, officials disagree on how much algebra there was supposed to be. Some, like City Councilor Patricia Nolan, a former School Committee member, said the goal was to have all students take algebra 1, instead of none.
“We still have not approved removing algebra one in eighth grade,” echoed School Committee member Rachel B. Weinstein at a recent roundtable.
District leaders, on the other hand, say the intention was to include aspects of the algebra 1 curriculum in eighth grade, but not the entire course. While the pandemic pushed even that out of reach, three of the seven units covered in Algebra 1 will be added to the eighth-grade curriculum next school year, said district math director Siobahn Mulligan, although students will still need to take the standalone course when they reach high school. The district is also offering a free online program over the summer that incoming ninth-grade students can use to place out of algebra 1.
There will be further expansion in the future, Greer said, but declined to share details on what that would look like.

Hillary Clinton and hundreds of college students switch from anger to silence when they find out that a hate crime of assault and racial slurs by whites against blacks was fake, and that the assaults had actually been committed by blacks against whites

At the University of Albany, three black students claimed that they were the victims of phsyical assault and racial slurs.
However, forensic evidence (twelve different security cameras – some with audio) proved that they had been lying. There was no hate crime. It was all fake. In addition, it turned out that all three of the black “victims” had themselves committed assault against whites.
When Hillary Clinton had thought this was a real hate crime by whites against blacks, she – justifiably so – criticized the people who had allegedly committed it, saying “There’s no excuse for racism and violence on a college campus.” But now that forensic evidence has proven that it was a fake hate crime, Clinton refuses to criticize the black people who carried out the hoax, despite the fact that these black people were filmed on video committing assault against whites.
Likewise, the hundreds of hypocrite social justice warriors who had – justifiably so – gotten mad and protested when they had thought it was a real hate crime, are now being silent now that it has been proven that it was a fake hate crime, again, despite the fact that the black hoaxers were filmed on video committing assault against white people.
And as far as the black people who committed this fake hate crime? They are getting zero time in jail, despite the fact that all three of them had committed assault against white people.
There is a huge double standard going on here.

At Cromwell High School in Connecticut, a male track runner has climbed all the way from last place to first place simply by claiming to be a girl.
In this particular case, the person in question has not even taken any gender altering hormones, and has not had sexual reassignment surgery. Instead, the person merely claimed to be a girl – and presto – they moved up all the way from last place to first place.
Radical left wing feminists have no right to complain that this is “unfair,” because it is they themselves who created this situation.
As time goes on, more and more “female” sports will come to be dominated by people who were born with a penis and have XY chromosomes, but who simply claim to be female. They won’t even have to take the hormones or have the surgery. They just have to say that they are female. Quite a racket that they have started for themselves.

Evergreen State College’s wimpy President George Bridges caves in to social justice warriors’ demand for permission to skip their homework
These social justice warriors at Evergreen State College are like three year olds who throw a tempter tantrum to get what they want.

On the positive side, I’m pretty certain that none of these social justice warriors who are demanding permission to skip their homework are majoring in any subjects where skipping their homework could have any negative consequences to innocent victims in the real world. I doubt that any of these social justice warriors are majoring in subjects that would allow them to get jobs designing bridges, or performing surgery, or writing the computer software for self driving cars.

After Boston Judge Lisa A. Grant saved two-time bank robber Bampumim Teixeira from being deported, Teixeira murdered two doctors in Boston
Bampumim Teixeirais is a legal immigrant who was convicted of two bank robberies in Boston, Massachusetts. During both robberies, although he threatened to shoot people, he did not actually have a gun.
Normally, a person who is convicted of two bank robberies would spend quite a few years in jail.
But Teixeirais’s judge was social justice warrior Lisa A. Grant. And Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people.
Since Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people, she sentenced Teixeirais to a combined 364 days in prison for his two bank robbery convictions.
By giving Teixeirais such a ridiculously short sentence, Grant saved Teixeirais from being deported.
If an immigrant who is convicted of a crime spends 365 days or longer in prison, then after his sentence is completed, he gets deported. If he spends 364 days or less in prison, then after his sentence is completed, he gets to stay in the U.S. Judge Grant was well aware of this when she sentenced Teixeirais to 364 days in prison.
After Teixeirais got out of prison, he murdered two doctors in Boston.
These two murders are Teixeirais’s fault – but they are also the fault of Judge Grant.
Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people, and these two murders are the direct result of her choice to save Teixeirais from being deported.

This is a great example of how the mainstream media tries to brainwash viewers with false information. But it’s also a great example of how the viewers are smart enough to recognize false information when they see it.
For the record, the guy who threw the punch at the left wing thug is no angel. He’s a white supremacist who spent five years in prison/jail for committing armed robbery.

News that a high school student wrote nothing but #BlackLivesMatter on his personal statement in an application to California’s Stanford University – and got in – has been raising some eyebrows.
Stanford University was ranked third in the world by Times Higher Education last year, and only admitted about 1 in 20 of the students who applied for an undergraduate place.
Ziad Ahmed, a high school student in New Jersey, proudly tweeted his news and received a range of reactions in response. There were congratulations aplenty of course – “forever in love with your audacity”, laughed one user.
But several were also surprised by the news. One detractor accused him of “virtue signalling”. Another remarked “a real [Black Lives Matter] ally would’ve wrote something poignant instead of this … attempt to look progressive”.
Admirers pointed out that Mr Ahmed had plenty to offer on top of his activist statement though. “Have you seen his profile? With a resume like that nothing could derail him,” said one.
In a profile of Mr Ahmed, Mic website notes that he has founded his own teenage marketing consulting firm, as well as an organisation to promote tolerance. He worked for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and had also been invited to the White House under Barack Obama’s administration.
Stanford won’t be the only thing he’s thinking about though. Mr Ahmed has also been accepted to Yale and Princeton universities and he has until May to decide which one to choose.

A professor at Georgetown University is teaching his students that men do not need consent to have sex with women, and that slavery is justifiable under Islamic teachings.
Islamic Studies professor Jonathan Brown recently lectured at the International Institute of Islamic Thought, where he shared his alarming beliefs with students in attendance in his lecture, “Islam and the Problem of Slavery.” Freelance writer Umar Lee expressed his shock over the 90-minute lecture, which included explicit endorsements of rape and slavery.
Brown himself uploaded the lecture to YouTube.
According to Lee, Brown’s lecture was supposed to revolve around slavery in Islam, but the lecturer moved its focus to criticize the United States, United Kingdom and China. Brown described slavery in these non-Muslim societies as brutal, which they were, but lauded the historically inhumane practice in Arab lands and Turkey.
“Indeed, according to Brown, slaves in the Muslim world lived a pretty good life,” wrote Lee. “I thought the Muslim community was done with this dishonest North Korean style of propaganda. Obviously not.”
Brown decried the use of prison labor in the United States and highlighted other problems inherent in Western society, but refused to address the abuse of foreign laborers in the Gulf or the ghastly treatment of prisoners in the Middle East. It was a one-sided lecture that glorified his religion while demonizing Western society.
The Islamic Studies professor said that in Muslim societies, “slavery wasn’t racialized,” unlike the United States. Lee points out that this is untrue, given that in the Arab world, black people are referred to as “abeed,” the Arab word for “slave.”
Brown stated that slaves were “protected by Sharia,” omitting the various atrocities committed by slave-owners. Girls and women were forced into the sex trade and their male counterparts were often castrated.
“In general you don’t find the brutality that you see in American slavery,” said Brown, who described the historically common practice as “investments” and “walking venture properties” for slave-owners.
The soft-pedaling and revisionism of historical atrocities is deplorable, to say the least.
Historically, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams conducted warfare against vassal states of the Ottoman Empire to end the Barbary slave trade, in which North African pirates conducted constant raids into European coastal towns to capture men and women for slavery.
Brown defended slavery, stating, “It’s not immoral for one human to own another human” by comparing it to marriage—a quid pro quo arrangement in which both slave and master benefited from the arrangement.
“I don’t think it’s morally evil to own somebody because we own lots of people all around us and we’re owned by people,” said Brown.
A female attendee asked Brown about the permissibility of sex with slaves, to which the professor stated that “Consent isn’t necessary for lawful sex,” and defined consent as a Western concept that emerged with women’s suffrage and female body autonomy. Brown, he said, believes that marital rape was an invalid concept in Islam.
Had Prof. Brown’s words been spoken by a practicing member of any other religion, they would’ve lost their jobs and shunned out of the academic world.

Beloit College in Wisconsin: Muslim student commits fake hate crime
Muslim student faked vile hate crime to get people to pay attention to him

A Muslim student at a liberal arts college in Wisconsin has been arrested for spray painting reprehensible anti-Muslim messages on his own dorm room door and then filing a report claiming that he was the victim of a hate crime.
The totally fake hate crime occurred last weekend at Beloit College, a 1,400-student bastion bursting with idiosyncratic individualists who enjoy leftist politics.
The student who falsely claimed that he was a victim of a terrible hate crime is Michael Kee, campus police told regional Fox affiliate WQRF-TV.
There were three spray-painted messages — all in bold red. In addition to “Sand nigger go home,” the other two messages read “#muslimban” and “Die,” according to a contemporaneous account by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Investigators say Kee, 20, eventually admitted that he perpetrated the hoax.
Kee faces a trio of charges: criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and obstruction.
The cost for a single year of tuition, fees and room and board at Beloit is $55,206, according to the school’s website.
The school is located in a pleasant Wisconsin town, just over the Illinois border.

But the school and a judge won’t let him do that, because it might hurt the feelings of the female student who made the false accusations against him.

Limo torched in DC protests belongs to Muslim immigrant, may cost $70,000 in damages

The limousine that was set on fire during the anti-Trump anarchist protest in downtown Washington on Inauguration Day is owned by a Muslim immigrant who says the damage could cost his company $70,000.
Muhammad Ashraf, the owner of Nationwide Chauffeur Services, spoke with the Washington Examiner’s sister publication, Red Alert Politics, about what happened.
Ashraf’s employee, Luis Villarroel, 58, was dropping a client off at their destination when things turned ugly. Protesters smashed doors and windows in the vicinity, but then turned their attention to Villarroel and the limo. People began pounding on the car and started throwing stones and bricks in his direction. The driver ended up going to the hospital for cuts on his hands and arms from glass being shattered by thrown projectiles.
Ashraf explained that with the loss of the vehicle, his company is now in the hole for $70,000 (if insurance doesn’t cover riots) plus commission and the medical bills for his driver.
