Another fake hate crime on a college campus

A black student wrote those racist messages that shook the Air Force Academy, school says

November 8, 2017

In late September, five black cadet candidates found racial slurs scrawled on message boards on their doors at the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School. One candidate found the words “go home n‑‑‑‑‑‑” written outside his room, his mother posted on social media, according to the Air Force Times.

The racist messages roiled the academy in Colorado Springs and prompted the school to launch an investigation. They led its superintendent to deliver a stern speech that decried the “horrible language” and drew national attention for its eloquence.

Surrounded by 1,500 members of the school’s staff, Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria told cadets to take out their phones and videotape the speech, “so you can use it . . . so that we all have the moral courage together.”

“If you can’t treat someone with dignity and respect,” Silveria said, “then get out.”

The speech, which the academy posted on YouTube, went viral. It was watched nearly 1.2 million times, grabbed headlines nationwide, and was commended by former vice president Joe Biden and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

But on Tuesday, the school made a jolting announcement. The person responsible for the racist messages, the academy said, was, in fact, one of the cadet candidates who reported being targeted by them.

“The individual admitted responsibility and this was validated by the investigation,” academy spokesman Lt. Col. Allen Herritage said in a statement to the Associated Press, adding: “Racism has no place at the academy, in any shape or form.”

The cadet candidate accused of crafting the messages was not identified, but the Colorado Springs Gazette reported that the individual is no longer enrolled at the school. Sources also told the Gazette the cadet candidate “committed the act in a bizarre bid to get out of trouble he faced at the school for other misconduct,” the newspaper reported.

The announcement thrust the Air Force Academy Preparatory School onto a growing list of recent “hate crime hoaxes” — instances in which acts of racism or anti-Semitism were later found to be committed by someone in the targeted minority group.

On Monday, police in Riley County, Kansas, revealed that a 21-year-old black man, Dauntarius Williams, admitted to defacing his car with racist graffiti as a “Halloween prank that got out of hand.” Scrawled in washable paint were racist messages telling blacks to “Go Home,” “Date your own kind,” and “Die.” The incident provoked controversy and concern at nearby Kansas State University, especially after Williams spoke with the Kansas City Star, claiming to be a black student who was leaving the school because of the incident. He was not, in fact, a student.

Officials decided not to file criminal charges against Williams for filing a false report, saying it “would not be in the best interests” of citizens of the Manhattan, Kan., community, police said in a news release. They said Williams was “genuinely remorseful” for his actions and published an apology on his behalf.

“The whole situation got out of hand when it shouldn’t have even started,” Williams said in the statement. “I wish I could go back to that night but I can’t. I just want to apologize from the bottom of my heart for the pain and news I have brought you all.”

When reports circulated last week about the racial slurs on the car, African American students at the nearby Kansas State University campus held a meeting to talk about the incident.

Andrew Hammond, a journalism student at Kansas State, told the Kansas City Star Monday he was “outraged and hurt” to learn the crime was fake.

“As a black student who has witnessed racist incidents first-hand around Manhattan this hurts the credibility of students who actually want to step out and say something about it,” Hammond said. “I’m not sure what type of human being does this kind of thing as a prank.”

About three weeks earlier, police announced that a 29-year-old black man, a former student named Eddie Curlin, had been charged in connection with three racist graffiti incidents at Eastern Michigan University: “KKK” sprayed on a dorm wall, messages ordering blacks to leave scrawled on a building, and a racist message left in a men’s restroom stall.

It’s unclear exactly what prompts people to commit these hoaxes, stunts and false reports. But such revelations have become a major concern for civil rights activists who document racist and anti-Semitic incidents, particularly amid a rise in reported hate crimes since the 2016 general election.

“There aren’t many people claiming fake hate crimes, but when they do, they make massive headlines,” Ryan Lenz, senior investigative writer for the Southern Poverty Law Center Intelligence Project, told ProPublica. All it takes is one false report, Lenz said, “to undermine the legitimacy of other hate crimes.”

These reports have also energized many right-wing commentators and President Trump supporters, who argue that reports about hate speech and racist graffiti are often fake accounts disseminated by liberal media.

“Anyone (including the lapdog media) who was surprised by this hate crime hoax hasn’t been paying attention,” Jeremy Carl, a research fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution at Stanford University, tweeted early Wednesday in response to the news about the Air Force Academy Preparatory School. “The stream of fake hate crimes became a flood after Trump’s election.”

“HATE HOAX: Air Force Academy Cadet Candidate Wrote Fake Racist Messages Himself,” read a headline in the conservative Daily Caller.

There is even a website — fakehatecrimes.org — committed to listing hate crime hoaxes.

In August, Sebastian Gorka, then-deputy assistant to Trump and his spokesman on national security matters, appeared on MSNBC to explain why the president hadn’t condemned the bombing of a mosque in Bloomington, Minn. He suggested it was because the attack may have been a “fake” hate crime.

“There’s a great rule: All initial reports are false,″ Gorka said. “We’ve had a series of crimes committed, alleged hate crimes, by right-wing individuals in the last six months, that turned out to actually have been propagated by the left.”

Despite the string of frauds, experts on hate crimes say that false accounts are still relatively rare.

Brian Levin, director for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University at San Bernardino, told Talking Points Memo that hoaxes do appear in hate crime reports, just as they do in reports of other criminal offenses. But these fakes are a “tiny fraction” of the hundreds of hate crimes reported to law enforcement every year.

“These hoaxes have become symbols for some who want to promote the idea that most hate crimes are hoaxes,” Levin said. “That’s important to rectify.”

And indeed, scores of these incidents are cropping up across the country, particularly on college campuses.

Using a ProPublica database, BuzzFeed News found 154 total incidents of hate speech at more than 120 college campuses nationwide. More than two-thirds promoted white supremacist groups or ideology, while more than a third cited Trump’s name or slogans, BuzzFeed News reported.

Yet authorities caught fewer than 5 percent of perpetrators in cases of vandalism or threats. In at least three instances, college officials determined the incident was a hoax, according to BuzzFeed News.

On Tuesday, Silveria, the Air Force general who gained national fame for his speech condemning the September incidents at the preparatory academy, stood by his original remarks.

“Regardless of the circumstances under which those words were written, they were written, and that deserved to be addressed,” Silveria told the Colorado Springs Gazette in a Tuesday email. “You can never over-emphasize the need for a culture of dignity and respect — and those who don’t understand those concepts, aren’t welcome here.”

Hillary Clinton and hundreds of college students switch from anger to silence when they find out that a hate crime of assault and racial slurs by whites against blacks was fake, and that the assaults had actually been committed by blacks against whites

At the University of Albany, three black students claimed that they were the victims of phsyical assault and racial slurs.

However, forensic evidence (twelve different security cameras – some with audio) proved that they had been lying. There was no hate crime. It was all fake. In addition, it turned out that all three of the black “victims” had themselves committed assault against whites.

When Hillary Clinton had thought this was a real hate crime by whites against blacks, she – justifiably so – criticized the people who had allegedly committed it, saying “There’s no excuse for racism and violence on a college campus.” But now that forensic evidence has proven that it was a fake hate crime, Clinton refuses to criticize the black people who carried out the hoax, despite the fact that these black people were filmed on video committing assault against whites.

Likewise, the hundreds of hypocrite social justice warriors who had – justifiably so – gotten mad and protested when they had thought it was a real hate crime, are now being silent now that it has been proven that it was a fake hate crime, again, despite the fact that the black hoaxers were filmed on video committing assault against white people.

And as far as the black people who committed this fake hate crime? They are getting zero time in jail, despite the fact that all three of them had committed assault against white people.

There is a huge double standard going on here.

Woman falsely accused trooper of making racial slurs in Cayuga County traffic stop

May 3, 2017

Tiffany Robinson-Clarke (above)

A Rochester woman has been arrested for falsely accusing a New York State trooper of making racial slurs during a traffic stop in Cayuga County, state police said Wednesday.

On Jan. 29, 2017, state police stopped 36-year-old Tiffany Robinson-Clarke on Route 38 in the town of Moravia.

According to a press release, Robinson-Clarke was on the phone with her husband — an inmate at the Cayuga Correctional Facility — throughout the entire traffic stop. Thus, police said the entire encounter was recorded.

After the traffic stop, Robinson-Clarke contacted state police in Auburn and accused the trooper of making racial slurs toward her after issuing a ticket.

Upon investigating Robinson-Clarke’s complaint, troopers recovered the entire taped conversation from the correctional facility, which allegedly exonerated the trooper of the false allegation.

Police arrested Robinson-Clarke Tuesday. She was charged with falsely swearing to a written statement and falsely reporting an incident, both misdemeanors.

Robinson-Clarke was arraigned in the Town of Hayden Court and released on $500 bail. She was scheduled to return to court May 31.

Forensic evidence proves that white customer did NOT write racist note to black waitress

In Virginia, after a black waitress claimed that a white customer had written a racist note on a receipt, people donated more than $3,600 to the waitress.

However, the receipt with the racist note is actually a reprint of the original receipt, and was printed after the restaurant had closed. So there’s no way that the racist message was actually written by the customer.

Lawyer: Racist Note Given To Black Waitress In Virginia Is A Fake

February 25, 2017

A black waitress who received thousands of dollars in donations after she claimed she received a racist note and no tip from a patron last month, fabricated the incident, the customer claims.

Kelly Carter, a waitress at Anita’s New Mexico Cafe in Ashburn, Va., claimed that a white man stiffed her on his $30.52 restaurant bill and wrote “Great service, don’t tip black people” at the bottom of his receipt.

But the receipt was fabricated, says Daniel Hebda, a lawyer for the patron.

Hebda said in a statement Friday that his client did leave Carter a small tip — one penny — because her service was poor, not because she is black.

“Our client did not nor would he ever write anything about refusing to tip African Americans because of their race,” Hebda said, according to WTOP.

“Our client has no ill feelings towards African Americans. Our client did not leave a $0.00 tip. Our client tipped $0.01 out of his own conviction against tipping well for poor service.”

Hebda said that his client did write on the receipt, but only the message “terrible service.”

Websites like the Huffington Post, Raw Story, the Daily Mail, the New York Daily News and others posted the story as an example of racism in America. The Loudon County NAACP became involved, and a Virginia man opened up an online fundraiser that brought in more than $3,600 for Carter.

Carter’s boss, Tommy Tellez, said last month, after Carter reported the receipt, that customers were showing up to the restaurant and just “dropping cash off” for Carter.

“I was appalled, though it’s kind of in line with the political landscape,” Tellez said at the time.

Though Carter’s story went viral, there were some early indications that her claim did not quite add up. For one, the receipt she posted online was printed several hours after Anita’s New Mexico Cafe closed. The receipt also bore markings showing that it was a reprint of an original receipt.

Hebda says he has reached out to Anita’s “and demanded that they set the story straight and find out who is responsible.”

It is unclear what will happen to the funds donated to Carter.

According to WTOP, the Loudon County NAACP says it is standing behind the waitress.

“It’s sad any way it goes,” Philip Thompson told the TV station.

Beloit College in Wisconsin: Muslim student commits fake hate crime

Muslim student faked vile hate crime to get people to pay attention to him

February 4, 2017

A Muslim student at a liberal arts college in Wisconsin has been arrested for spray painting reprehensible anti-Muslim messages on his own dorm room door and then filing a report claiming that he was the victim of a hate crime.

The totally fake hate crime occurred last weekend at Beloit College, a 1,400-student bastion bursting with idiosyncratic individualists who enjoy leftist politics.

The student who falsely claimed that he was a victim of a terrible hate crime is Michael Kee, campus police told regional Fox affiliate WQRF-TV.

There were three spray-painted messages — all in bold red. In addition to “Sand nigger go home,” the other two messages read “#muslimban” and “Die,” according to a contemporaneous account by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Investigators say Kee, 20, eventually admitted that he perpetrated the hoax.

Kee faces a trio of charges: criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and obstruction.

The cost for a single year of tuition, fees and room and board at Beloit is $55,206, according to the school’s website.

The school is located in a pleasant Wisconsin town, just over the Illinois border.

Women’s march speaker Donna Hylton spent 27 years in a maximum-security prison for being an accessory to the kidnapping, torture, rape, and murder of a gay man.

Which is not surprising, given that we already knew that women’s march organizer Linda Sarsour wants the U.S. to adopt Sharia law.

German court says people named “Mohammad” were “justified” in setting fire to a synagogue, and gives them zero jail time

German court calls synagogue torching an act to ‘criticize Israel’

January 13, 2017

A German regional court in the city of Wuppertal affirmed a lower court decision last Friday stating that a violent attempt to burn the city’s synagogue by three men in 2014 was a justified expression of criticism of Israel’s policies.

Johannes Pinnel, a spokesman for the regional court in Wuppertal, outlined the court’s decision in a statement.

Three German Palestinians sought to torch the Wuppertal synagogue with Molotov cocktails in July, 2014.  The local Wuppertal court panel said in its 2015 decision that the three men wanted to draw “attention to the Gaza conflict” with Israel. The court deemed the attack not to be motivated by antisemitism.

Israel launched Operation Protective Edge in the summer of 2014 to stop Hamas rocket attacks into Israeli territory.

The court sentenced the three men – the 31-year-old Mohamad E., the 26 year-old Ismail A. and the 20-year-old Mohammad A.—to suspended sentences. The men tossed self-made Molotov cocktails at the synagogue.  German courts frequently decline to release the last names of criminals to protect privacy.

The attack caused €800 damage to the synagogue. The original synagogue in Wuppertal was burned by Germans during the Kristallnacht pogroms in 1938. Wuppertal has a population of nearly 344,000 and is located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The court said the men had consumed alcohol and there were no injuries to members of the synagogue.

A 13-year-old who lived near the synagogue and noticed the flames informed the police. Several days before the fire, a person sprayed “Free Palestine” on a wall of the synagogue.

After the local Wuppertal court decision in 2015, Volker Beck, a leading Green Party MP,  said the “attack on the synagogue was motivated by antisemitism” and blasted the court for issuing a decision stating that the goal of the attack was to highlight the war in Gaza.

“This is a mistaken decision as far as the motives of the perpetrators are concerned,” he said, adding that the burning of a synagogue in Germany because of the Middle East conflict can be attributed only to antisemitism.

“What do Jews in Germany have to do with the Middle East conflict? Every bit as much as Christians, non-religious people or Muslims in Germany, namely, absolutely nothing. The ignorance of the judiciary toward anti-Semitism is for many Jews in Germany especially alarming, ” said Beck.

Black student stages fake KKK hate crime in Baltimore

I’ve said this before and and I’ll say it again: the only reason that social justice warriors create fake hate crimes is because there aren’t as many real hate crimes as the social justice warriors wish there were.

http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2017/01/11/police-cite-student-for-threat-made-at-arundel-high-school/

Police Charge Student For Threat Made At Arundel High School

January 11, 2017

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Anne Arundel County Police Department has charged a 14-year-old girl with a juvenile citation for sending a threatening tweet related to Arundel High School.

Police began their investigation after Arundel High School officials told them about a suspicious Twitter account.

The account, named @KoolkidsKlanKkk, reportedly sent out a tweet that read, “We’re planning to attack tomorrow”.

This account used similar language to a racial petition that had been passed around Anne Arundel High School by the “Kool Kids Klan”.

Police worked with Twitter, and were able to identify the person who created the account and sent out the threatening tweet.

That person has been identified as a 14-year-old African American female who attends Arundel High School.

Authorities interviewed the girl while she was with her parents, and police say she admitted to creating the Twitter account and sending the threatening tweet.

She was charged with a juvenile citation for disruption of school activities and released to her parents.

“It makes me really upset. I can’t believe that students would write something like that,” said parent Michelle Fitzurka.

“I kind of felt unsafe at the school and a little hurt,” said Taylor Nash, a freshman at Arundel High.

The school district said all the students involved in that incident were disciplined, but the students were not identified, and to complicate an already tense situation, Wednesday night hundreds showed up for a meeting at the school, but some parents still had questions.

“That is not good enough. What’s going to happen with the students that are still here?”said parent Tamara Hannah.

“The federal law prohibits me from telling you exactly what the consequences were. But I will say to you that the school acted swiftly, they acted aggressively and they administered appropriated disciplinary action,” said Bob Mosier, chief communications officer of Anne Arundel Public Schools.

As parents left the school, there’s hope the community will begin to heal.

“I am very confident that Ms. Davenport and the staff at the school is going to do everything they can to keep all of our children safe,” said parent Sheri Paris.

“I just hope that we can all come together, not just here at the school, but as a society,” said parent Lisa Smith.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools Superintendent George Arlotto released the following statement:

“I want to thank Police Chief Tim Altomare, State’s Attorney Wes Adams, County Executive Steve Schuh, and their staffs for their thorough and expeditious work to identify a suspect in the online post that threatened violence at Arundel High School this week. The anonymity of the internet provides a murky and complex disguise for many who want to threaten the safety and security of our communities. Our partners in the Police Department and county government peeled back that disguise quickly in this case, in the process reassuring parents, students, and staff that our schools are safe places in which to educate our children.”

Fake hate crime in Greenville, Mississippi: black man burns black church, writes “Vote Trump”

Arrest made in ‘Vote Trump’ burning of Mississippi black church

December 21, 2016

Greenville, Miss. — Mississippi authorities have made an arrest in the burning of an African-American church spray-painted with the words, “Vote Trump.”

Mississippi Department of Public Safety spokesman Warren Strain says Andrew McClinton of Leland, Mississippi, who is African-American, is charged with first-degree arson of a place of worship.

McClinton was arrested Wednesday. Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi, was burned and vandalized Nov. 1, a week before the presidential election.

It was not immediately clear whether McClinton is represented by an attorney.

Greenville is a Mississippi River port city of about 32,100 people, and about 78 percent of its residents are African-American.

After the fire, Hopewell congregants began worshipping in a chapel at predominantly white First Baptist Church of Greenville.

Fire Chief Ruben Brown told The Associated Press the sanctuary of Hopewell M.B Church sustained heavy damage in the fire, while the kitchen and pastor’s office received water and smoke damage.

The words “Vote Trump” were also spray-painted on an outside wall of the church.

A U.S. born Muslim NYPD officer who ran into a burning building to save a baby and an elderly man is the victim of a real hate crime

I’ll definitely take the word of any police officer who runs into a burning building to save a baby and an elderly man.

Plus, they have a real suspect in custody.

Muslim NYPD officer threatened, told ‘go back to your country’

December 5, 2016

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said he’s “sick to my stomach” over an incident in which a Muslim off-duty NYPD officer was reportedly threatened over the weekend by a man who said, “I will cut your throat, go back to your country.”

The officer, Aml Elsokary, said she had just dropped off her 16-year-old son in Brooklyn Saturday evening when a man begin arguing with the teen. When Elsokary, who was not in uniform, intervened, the man allegedly told her, “ISIS [expletive], I will cut your throat, go back to your country,” before fleeing the scene.

Elsokary, a 34-year-old Muslim-American, is an 11-year-veteran of the NYPD. She was wearing a hijab at the time of the incident, according to the NYPD.

Within 24 hours of the incident New York police arrested Christopher Nelson, 36, and charged him with menacing as a hate crime and aggravated harassment. Nelson was ordered held on $50,000 bail, according to Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez.

Nelson’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request from CNN seeking comment.

There are approximately 900 Muslim-Americans currently serving on the NYPD, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday at a news conference in which he addressed the threat against Elsokary.

“This is her country, she is an American, she is a New Yorker, and this is her home. We cannot allow this hatred and bias to spread,” de Blasio said.

Elsokary, who regularly wears a hijab while on duty in Brooklyn, was praised for her heroism after she helped save a baby girl and an elderly man from a burning building in April 2014, according to a press release from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.

“I help everybody no matter what your religion is. I’m born and raised here and I am here to protect you all. The department has supported me in wearing my hijab. I want to thank my Muslim officers for standing by my side,” Elsokary said at Monday’s press conference.

The incident involving Elsokary is just one in a recent rash of hate crimes in New York, authorities said.

On Monday, an off-duty Muslim NYC transit employee was assaulted by a male passenger at Grand Central Terminal. The man allegedly called the uniformed employee a “terrorist” and pushed her down a flight of stairs.

The transit employee sustained injuries to her ankle and knee and was transported to an area hospital, according to a statement from Governor Andrew Cuomo, who directed the Metropolitan Transit Authority, the State Police and the state Division of Human Rights to investigate the matter.

“This is the great state of New York — we welcome people of all cultures, customs and creeds with open arms. We do not allow intolerance or fear to divide us because we know diversity is our strength and we are at our best when we stand united,” Cuomo said.

Hate crimes in New York City are up 35% from last year, with a “huge spike” in incidents right after Election Day on November 8, NYPD Chief of Detectives Bob Boyce said Monday. Most of the reported hate crimes have been anti-Semitic in nature, followed by anti-Muslim crimes, Boyce said. De Blasio said the uptick in hate crimes were “obviously connected to the (presidential) election.”

Critics accused President-elect Donald Trump of fostering xenophobia and Islamophobia during the divisive presidential campaign. In an interview last month Trump said he was “so saddened” to hear about vitriol hurled by some of his supporters against minorities and told them to “stop it.”

“You can’t have a candidate for president single out groups of Americans negatively and not have some ramification for that, not have something as a result of that. It’s very troubling. Look, a few times recently the President-elect has spoken out against it. He needs to keep doing that,” de Blasio said Monday.

Netherlands: Government-funded watchdog says it’s ok for Muslims to send death threats to gays

Netherlands: Government-funded watchdog says it’s ok for Muslims to send death threats to gays

December 3, 2016

“The disgraceful stance came to light when a member of the public complained about death threats posted to an online forum which called for homosexuals to be ‘burned, decapitated and slaughtered.’” Yet this “anti-discrimination watchdog” refused to pursue the case, writing: “The remarks must be seen in the context of religious beliefs in Islam, which juridically takes away the insulting character.”

In their globalist ardor to appease and accommodate Islamic supremacists, there seems to be no absurdity that is out of bounds for the political elites.

“Fury as watchdog says it’s OK to send gay people death threats – but only if you’re Muslim,” by Nick Gutteridge, Express, December 3, 2016 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

FURIOUS Dutch MPs have demanded an immediate public inquiry after a government-backed watchdog said it was acceptable for Muslims to send gay people death threats.

In a shocking move, the taxpayer-funded hotline said it would not pursue a criminal complaint over horrific messages from radical Islamists because the Koran says gay people can be killed.

The disgraceful stance came to light when a member of the public complained about death threats posted to an online forum which called for homosexuals to be “burned, decapitated and slaughtered”.

Dutch MPs today reacted with horror to the revelations, demanding an immediate inquiry into the remarks and calling for the hotline to be stripped of public funding.

According to Dutch media advisors from the anti-discrimination bureau MiND said that, while homophobic abuse was usually a crime, it was justifiable if you were Muslim due to laws on freedom of religious expression.

They argued that the Koran says it is acceptable to kill people for being homosexual, and so death threats towards gay people from Muslims could not be discriminatory.

In a jaw-dropping email explaining why they could not take up the complaint, they wrote: “The remarks must be seen in the context of religious beliefs in Islam, which juridically takes away the insulting character.”

They concluded that the remarks were made in “the context of a public debate about how to interpret the Quran” and added that “some Muslims understand from the Quran that gays should be killed”.

And they went on: “In the context of religious expression that exists in the Netherlands there is a large degree of freedom of expression. In addition, the expressions are used in the context of the public debate (how to interpret the Koran), which also removes the offending character.”

The death threats had been made in the comments section for an article about a Dutch-Moroccan gay society, which had been posted to an online platform for Holland’s large Moroccan community….

Another fake hate crime on a college campus – social justice warriors write “KKK” in fake blood

It seems that almost all of the hate crimes that happen on college campuses turn out to be fake. Here’s the latest example:

http://www.breitbart.com/texas/2016/11/21/students-face-disciplinary-action-hoaxing-kkk-vandalism/

Students Face Disciplinary Action After Hoaxing ‘KKK’ Vandalism

Two Williams College students are now facing disciplinary action after hoaxing vandalism which appeared to be Ku Klux Klan (KKK) inspired days after the 2016 Election.

The two students, whom the college has not publicly named, poured fake blood on staircases of a building and spelled out “AMKKK KILL” on the walls, according to the Williams Record.

On the day that the vandalism was discovered, campus organizations had to cancel meetings in the building as a result.

Shortly thereafter, local police were notified of the vandalism and began investigating the incident, even getting the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Massachusetts State Police involved in the case.

After investigating more than 40 persons of interest, police concluded that two students performed the act as a statement against President-Elect Donald Trump.

Williams College President Adam Falk said in a statement that the two students admitted “they had committed the vandalism to bring attention to the effects of the presidential election on many within our community.”

“Their actions did much more than damage property,” Falk continued. “They harmed our entire community and caused considerable fear, among students in particular.”

“We are deeply distressed that anyone in our community would feel compelled to express themselves in such a destructive and harmful way,” Falk said.

The two students are now facing disciplinary action, according to Falk.

The Massachusetts hate crime hoax is one of many that has occurred since Trump’s victory against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

In Louisiana, a Muslim student claimed she was attacked by Trump supporters and had her hijab pulled off her head, only for police to discover that she fabricated the story, as Breitbart Texas reported. The student is now facing misdemeanor charges.

In Ohio, a Bowling Green State University student faces similar charges after repeatedly misleading police investigators about a claimed rock-throwing attack she suffered at the hands of Trump supporters.

So far, social justice warriors have invented at least three fake hate crimes by Trump supporters

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: some social justice warriors think there are not enough real hate crimes in the world, so they go and invent fake ones:

Man admits to faking hate crime in Malden

Claimed men referenced ‘Trump country,’ lynching

November 18, 2016

In the latest case of a faked hate crime, a 20-year-old man has admitted he made it up when he told Malden cops he was harassed by two men proclaiming it’s “Trump country now.”

The man, whose name police have not released, had filed a complaint saying when he got off an MBTA bus near Broadway Square in Malden at 10 p.m. Tuesday, at least two white men approached him.

The men used a racial slur, made a reference to lynching and warned him this is Donald “Trump country now,” according to the report he gave police. He was able to get away from the men and hid before calling police, officials said.

Investigators prioritized resources for the suspected “hate crime” incident and re-interviewed the alleged victim.

“As a result, it has been determined that the story was completely fabricated,” Malden police Chief Kevin Molis said in a statement. “The alleged victim admitted that he had made up the entire story,” saying he wanted to “raise awareness about things that are going on around the country.”

Police informed the man of the legal consequences of filing a false police report and warned him of the potential damaging impact that they had on the local community.

Malden Mayor Gary Christenson said, “When I heard the story was fabricated, we were not surprised at all.”

Christenson said he was told about the incident in an email at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and he reached out to Molis, who was working on it by 2:30 a.m.

“Our community reacted quickly, and 24 to 48 hours later, here we are feeling better about who we are and why we are one of the most diverse cities in the state,” Christenson said. “Residents like ours who are letting us know when they hear or see something like this, that is important to how a city like ours moves forward.”

News reports of claims of harassment and hateful graffiti by Trump supporters have abounded since the Nov. 8 election, but a number of high-profile cases have fallen apart. In Lafayette, La., a Muslim woman will be charged with filing a false report after she admitted to making up a story about two men — one in a Trump hat — robbing her of her wallet and her hijab head scarf. In Santa Monica, Calif., police said they could find no evidence an alleged beating of a gay man by Trump supporters had taken place.

Muslim student at University of Louisiana invents fake hate crime

Apparently, some people think there aren’t enough real hate crimes in the world, so they go and invent fake ones.

And it’s interesting how such a large percentage of these fake hate crimes happen on college campuses:

Louisiana student ‘fabricated’ story of hijab attack, police say

November 10, 2016

A student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette fabricated a story that she was attacked and had her hijab ripped off, police said Thursday.

The attack was one of several reported in the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory.

In a press release Thursday afternoon, the Lafayette Police Department said that during the course of their investigation into the woman’s complaint, she “admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males.

“This incident is no longer under investigation” by the department, the statement said.

Social justice warriors at Salisbury University stop being mad over anti-black hate crime when they find out the perpetrators were black

At Salisbury University in Maryland, someone drew a body hanging from a noose, with the n-word, and a “white power” hashtag.

Here is the image, which I got from here, and am using under fair use:

Salisbury University

Everyone at the college was upset over this, and justifiably so.

However, after it was discovered that the two people who drew the image and wrote the words were black, some of the people who had been upset, stopped being upset.

The social justice warriors no longer seemed to care.

The school police said that no charges will be filed.

And the school refuses to name the two students.

In my opinion, the fact that these two students are black should not make any difference in how they are treated.

Regardless of their race, they should be identified, expelled, and charged.

But because they are black, none of those things is happening.

There is definitely a huge double standard going on.

Whole Foods sues customer who falsely accused it of putting anti-gay slur on cake

In the first video shown below, A Whole Foods customer shows what he claims is an “unopened” box for the cake that he bought at Whole Foods, and shows that there is an anti-gay slur on the cake. He points out that the price sticker on the side and bottom of the box proves that the box has not been opened.

The customer then sued Whole Foods over the slur.

In the second video, Whole Foods responds by showing its security footage, which shows that when the customer bought the cake, the price sticker was actually on top of the box, not on the side, thus proving that the customer had indeed opened the box.

Whole Foods is now countersuing the customer for knowingly filing a false lawsuit.

I hope Whole Foods wins its lawsuit.
