“Hobbes and Bacon” is a “Calvin and Hobbes” tribute that takes place 26 years later. I had nothing to with creating these cartoons – I am merely posting them here so that you can see them. There are four – and only four – but that’s enough to get the message across. You can see larger versions of the images by clicking twice on each image:

I’ve seen the first two… but not the others.
Not ashamed to say it makes my eyes leak a little.

Dan
Thanks so much for posting these. My 25 year old son forwarded me the link to your page. Calvin and Hobbes was part of his growing up for both of us and it’s great to see another artist picking up the mantle. Hope the strip continues.

I fell in love with Calvin & Hobbes growing up. I have missed them so much. Seeing these was like meeting up with an old friend. I hope that the artist will continue to do new ones. I know that, I for one would love to reconnect with these characters. I am sure that others would too… Thank you for the Smile that you have brought to my face…đź’•

II grew up on the richie rich comic books back in the 60’s and 70’s and who could could forget archi and the gang jug head veronica wow veronica to a ten year old that was hot, any way seeing calvin and hobbes in the strips many years later brought me back to that wonderful time. Thanks Mr. watterson you did more than just create a little boy and his stuffed tiger you brought back great memories for me.

These are so wonderful. I wish that you hadn’t made politics a part of one of the strips. But otherwise these are from my childhood just like I think we all figured the future of Calvin and Susie would turn out. Well done

Thanks Dan. I did and it appears down or “in maintenance”. Hopefully it will be active again. But I love these reminders from my childhood, as a fellow Ohioan with Mr. Watterson.
