And so it happens yet again. Another Asian person has been murdered because the people in charge decided to release a violent criminal who should have been in jail.
In Riverside, California, a woman named Darlene Stephanie Montoya was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. However, the evil scumbags who are in charge decided to release her without bail. A week later, she murdered a 64-year-old Asian woman.

I keep posting news stories like this to show how little regard the leaders of many Democatic-run cities have for protecting innocent people from violent criminals.
We don’t need to pass hate crime laws.
We don’t need to pass a federal law to protect women.
We don’t need more laws against guns.
Instead, what we need is to enforce the laws that are already on the books.
For whatever reason, in many Democratic-run cities, the people in charge have decided to side with the violent criminals, instead of with the innocent, law abiding people who live in those cities.
Here are some of the other recent examples of this:
In New York City, before a scumbag named Ryan Cato murdered a 10-year-old boy, Cato had already committed two other violent crimes in the past year.
The New York Times reported:
“Mr. Cato has been arrested at least twice before, including in December on charges of assaulting a woman by strangling her, and last February on charges of assaulting a school-bus driver, a police official said.”
So why wasn’t he already in jail?

In San Francisco, a violent serial criminal named Troy Ramon McAlister was repeatedly allowed to roam free.
They let him out on parole.
When he repeatedly violated his parole, they repeatedly refused to put him back in jail.
Eventually, he stole a car, drove through a red light, and killed two people.
If the liberals had kept him in jail for his many previous, violent crimes, those two people would still be alive.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan defended the insurrectionist “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” and called it “patriotic.”
Instead of arresting these violent, insurrectionist criminals, Durkan allowed them to continue with their criminal activities.
During the time that Durkan refused to arrest these criminals, the CHAZ area had a 525% spike in crime. Compared to similar, previous time periods, the CHAZ area had 2 additional murders, 6 additional robberies, and 16 additional aggravated assaults (include 2 additional non-fatal shootings).

Minneapolis City Council voted to defund the police, and then pretended to be upset about the increase in violent crime that happened as a result:

Some awesomely talented amateur sleuth observers at 4chan later identified the thug based on his partially visible face, his clothing, and several other things.
He’s a Diablo Valley College “ethics” professor named Eric Clanton.
He was convicted of his violent crimes.
But the left wing, progressive city of Berkeley, California gave him zero jail time for his brutal assaults.
Zero jail time, for brutally hitting seven innocent people in the head with a metal bike lock.

The Massachusetts Bail Fund paid for the bail of a repeat, convicted serial rapist.
Anyone who isn’t an idiot can guess what the serial rapist did after the liberals bailed him out.
In Manhattan, a convicted murderer named Brandon Elliot was let out of jail early on parole. Afterward, he attacked a 65-year-old Asian woman, knocked her down to the ground, and repeatedly stomped on her head.
In Syracuse, New York, a violent serial criminal named Victoria Afet was repeatedly allowed to walk free, instead of being in jail. During the time that she was free instead of in jail, she murdered a 93-year old woman.

In my opinion, left wing criminals and right wing criminals should be held to the same standard.
In my opinion, anyone, whether they are on the left or on the right, who smashes windows, commits arson, damages or destroys someone else’s property, commits assault, commits murder, or commits insurrection, should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
But that’s not how those on the left feel.
Those on the left have a huge double standard when it comes to wanting to prosecute people who commit these kinds of crimes.
For about half of last year, left wing rioters burned down city after city, destroyed many small businesses, turned neighborhoods into food deserts, murdered more than a dozen people, caused half a billion dollars of damage in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and declared that part of Seattle was an autonomous zone that was independent from the rest of the country. The mayors of these cities allowed, praised, and even encouraged many of these illegal activities. Charges against many rioters were dropped. Many other rioters had their bail paid for by left wing supporters, including the current Vice-President of the U.S.
But now that one right wing riot happens, where far less damage was caused, and far fewer people were murdered, the left is all of a sudden acting like they think rioting is now a bad thing.
This hypocrisy sucks.

Hypocrite Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan allowed left wing protestors to harass other people’s neighborhoods, but she had the police crack down on the protestors when they came to her own neighborhood.
During the time that Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan allowed left wing protestors to forcefully take over the neighborhood known as CHAZ (or CHOP), during the time period from June 2 to June 30, crime in that neighborhood increased by 525%, compared to the same time period during the previous year.
This includes two murders that happened in CHAZ during that time period this year, whereas the normal number of murders in that area during that time period is zero.
All the while that this was going on, Durkan did nothing to stop the left wing protestors who had forcefully taken over CHAZ.
But then the left wing protestors came to Mayor Durkan’s own neighborhood, and all of a sudden, Durkan decided to use the police to stop them.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkanis an extreme hypocrite for doing this. She allowed them to harass other people’s neighborhoods, but she got upset when they came to her own neighborhood.

After characterizing the infamous CHOP area of downtown Seattle as a “summer of love,” Mayor Jenny Durkan was eventually forced to acknowledge that the failed communist experiment was responsible for a whopping 525 per cent spike in crime.
As we highlighted yesterday, following weeks of violence and chaos, CHOP was finally dismantled by Seattle police, but only after occupiers marched on Mayor Durkan’s 5,000 sqft., $7.6 million house.
For almost the entirety of June, the area was plagued with fights, bickering, robberies and rapes, with occupiers targeting both outsiders and each other.
It has now emerged that compared to the same period last year, from June 2 to June 30 there was a 525 per cent jump in crime.
This figure is even greater than the 300% number repeatedly cited by Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best.
Rather embarrassingly, after proclaiming a “summer of love” and telling President Trump, “Seattle is fine, don’t be so afraid of democracy,” Mayor Durkan was forced to acknowledge the numbers in her own emergency order.
The order states that there were, “22 additional incidents, in person-related crime in the area, to include two additional homicides, 6 additional robberies, and 16 additional aggravated assaults (to include 2 additional non-fatal shootings).”
So in other words, a commune that was built in the name of opposing violence and brutality led directly to a massive increase in violence and brutality.
So much for the tolerant left!

PHOENIX — Coronavirus pandemic or not, an investment advisory company is leaving the cultural unrest in Seattle and moving its headquarters to Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor.
” … The unrest that has taken place in the city of Seattle … there is really is not a downtown business community today,” Smead Capital Management, President and CEO Cole Smead told KTAR News 92.3 FM.
Smead said that although taxes in Seattle are lower, candidate recruitment is harder and the cost of living within the city is more expensive than Phoenix.
“We’re hearing rumors of 40-story buildings that will be only 20-percent occupied by October,” Smead said.
“My biggest concern for Seattle was what the business community is going to come back to, and what kind of businesses are going to come back for customers.”
He found that metro Phoenix offers a better quality of life.
“My colleagues can pick the socio-economic rung of life that they want … live their lives, build
their households and have a family if they’d like,” Smead said.
“Where we’re coming from just wasn’t like that.”
Smead added his employees will take precautions to protect themselves from COVID-19 during their move.
As of May 31, the firm managed approximately $1.58 billion.

Seattle’s newly minted autonomous zone is reportedly causing problems for the people who lived in the area before the zone was created.
The Daily Caller’s Shelby Talcott spoke Friday with Fox News host Martha MacCallum about what was going on inside the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) and how the activity was impacting people who lived in the immediate area but were not a part of the protest.
Talcott explained that tensions have been high because not everyone agrees that Raz Simone, the man who has declared himself to be the “warlord,” should be the leader.
“A lot of these protesters do not agree with Raz becoming this warlord,” Talcott said. “We spoke to a few of them that were manning the entry points here in Seattle, and they say that his idea of what he wants CHAZ to become is not what the majority of the people inside want. So it is a little bit difficult, because they want no rules, but this is a society used to living by rules.”
Talcott also shared part of an interview with a local resident who was only willing to give only his first name — Brandon — because he feared reprisal.
“You can see for yourself, you can see that we don’t have the right to vote for stuff here anymore,” Brandon said. “You can see the demands when they say the that we want the pensions away from every police officer in Seattle. They took our rights away. That’s not okay. It’s not political. It’s just not okay.”
“That is stunning,” MacCallum responded. “That is a citizen in Seattle who obviously doesn’t feel safe enough to even have his face revealed to say that he just misses order in his community.”
Talcott added that Brandon had spoken out on the issue earlier and he was threatened because of his comments.
