Apparently, if you’re a social justice warrior, it’s OK to use racial slurs against blacks, even while simultaneously claiming that you’re against racism!
In the five minute video shown below, social justice warriors burn the U.S. flag.
In a rare case of social justice warriors defending private property rights, they say that they have the right to burn the flag because they own the flag. I agree with them.
They also use lots of profanity.
Beginning at 3:18, one of the social justice warriors begins to use racial slurs against a black person who supports Donald Trump. Apparently, this social justice warrior thinks that it’s wrong for a black person to support the political party that freed the slaves.

Starbucks is opening its first cafe in Ferguson
Starbucks is opening its first cafe in Ferguson, Missouri. It is contracting with local and minority firms. It is teaming up with a local non-profit.
Starbucks certainly has the best of intentions.
What the actual results will be will up to the people who live in the community.
Will they treat this Starbucks the same way that people in most neighborhoods treat their local Starbucks?
Or, will they smash the windows, loot it, and burn it down?
Only time will tell.
Social justice warriors at Salisbury University stop being mad over anti-black hate crime when they find out the perpetrators were black
By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)
April 30, 2016
At Salisbury University in Maryland, someone drew a body hanging from a noose, with the n-word, and a “white power” hashtag.
Here is the image, which I got from here, and am using under fair use:
Everyone at the college was upset over this, and justifiably so.
However, after it was discovered that the two people who drew the image and wrote the words were black, some of the people who had been upset, stopped being upset.
The social justice warriors no longer seemed to care.
The school police said that no charges will be filed.
And the school refuses to name the two students.
In my opinion, the fact that these two students are black should not make any difference in how they are treated.
Regardless of their race, they should be identified, expelled, and charged.
But because they are black, none of those things is happening.
There is definitely a huge double standard going on.

Attention CNN! It’s not McDonald’s fault that Safiyyah Cotton chose to have a baby out of wedlock. Plus, here’s a rare news article that actually mentions the concept of personal responsibility.
By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)
April 28, 2016
In this seven minute video, CNN talks about a single mother who is struggling to raise her child on the small salary that she earns at McDonald’s.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SCB1t28nDU
As is always the case with news articles from the mainstream media about struggling single mothers trying to raise their children, the article says absolutely nothing about the baby’s father.
The article doesn’t say that the father has a responsibility to provide for the baby that he chose to create.
The article doesn’t say that the mother has a responsibility to choose a responsible mate to make her baby with.
The article doesn’t say that if they got married, they would only have to pay rent for one apartment instead of two, and so things would be a lot easier.
The article doesn’t say anything about the mother ever having made any attempt to acquire better education and job skills as a way to get a bigger salary.
By comparison, this news article by Inside Edition fully understands the concept of personal responsibility. The article is called “Mom Cries On Dock As Cruise Ship Leaves With Her Kids Still On Board,” and includes the following brilliant quote, the kind of quote that is completely missing in the CNN article about the McDonald’s worker:
Travel expert Mark Murphy told IE: “It is the woman’s fault for not getting back on time. It is not the cruise ship’s fault. It is not the captain’s fault. It is not the cruise line’s fault. Everybody knows the posted time to get back and that ship is on a schedule, it is going to go.”
I absolutely love that quote. I praise Mr. Murphy for saying it. And I praise Inside Edition for including it in the article.
CNN, and all the other mainstream news organizations that write about struggling single mothers without ever mentioning the children’s fathers, should learn a lesson from Inside Edition about how to write a proper news story.

R.I.P. Pop superstar Prince dies at his Minnesota home
Thanks for all the great music.
R.I.P.
Pop superstar Prince dies at his Minnesota home
April 21, 2016
CHANHASSEN, Minn. (AP) — Pop superstar Prince, widely acclaimed as one of the most inventive and influential musicians of his era with hits including “Little Red Corvette,” ”Let’s Go Crazy” and “When Doves Cry,” was found dead at his home on Thursday in suburban Minneapolis, according to his publicist. He was 57.
His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, told The Associated Press that the music icon died at his home in Chanhassen. No details were immediately released.
The singer, songwriter, arranger and instrumentalist broke through in the late 1970s with the hits “Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?” and “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” and soared over the following decade with such albums as “1999” and “Purple Rain.” The title song from “1999” includes one of the most widely quoted refrains of popular culture: “Tonight I’m gonna party like it’s 1999.”
The Minneapolis native, born Prince Rogers Nelson, stood just 5 feet, 2 inches tall, and seemed to summon the most original and compelling sounds at will, whether playing guitar in a flamboyant style that openly drew upon Jimi Hendrix, switching his vocals from a nasally scream to an erotic falsetto or turning out album after album of stunningly original material. Among his other notable releases: “Sign O’ the Times,” ”Graffiti Bridge” and “The Black Album.”
He was also fiercely protective of his independence, battling his record company over control of his material and even his name. Prince once wrote “slave” on his face in protest of not owning his work and famously battled and then departed his label, Warner Bros., before returning a few years ago.
“What’s happening now is the position that I’ve always wanted to be in,” Prince told the AP in 2014. “I was just trying to get here.”
The same year, Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame, which hailed him as a musical and social trailblazer.
“He rewrote the rulebook, forging a synthesis of black funk and white rock that served as a blueprint for cutting-edge music in the Eighties,” reads the Hall’s dedication. “Prince made dance music that rocked and rock music that had a bristling, funky backbone. From the beginning, Prince and his music were androgynous, sly, sexy and provocative.”
Rarely lacking in confidence, Price effortlessly absorbed the music of others and made it sound like Prince, whether the James Brown guitar riff on “Kiss” or the Beatle-esque, psychedelic pop of “Raspberry Beret.”
He also proved a source of hits for others, from Sinead O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares 2 U” to Cyndi Lauper’s “When You Were Mine.” He also wrote “Manic Monday” for the Bangles
Prince had been touring and recording right up until his death, releasing four albums in the last 18 months, including two on the Tidal streaming service last year. He performed in Atlanta last week as part of his “Piano and a Microphone” tour, a stripped down show that has featured a mix of his hits like “Purple Rain” or “Little Red Corvette” and some B-sides from his extensive library.
Prince debuted the intimate format at his Paisley Park studios in January, treating fans to a performance that was personal and was both playful and emotional at times.
The musician had seemed to be shedding his reclusive reputation. He hosted several late-night jam sessions where he serenaded Madonna, celebrated the Minnesota Lynx’s WNBA championship and showcased his latest protege, singer Judith Hill.
Ever surprising, he announced on stage in New York City last month that he was writing his memoir. “The Beautiful Ones” was expected to be released in the fall of 2017 by publishing house Spiegel & Grau. The publishing house has not yet commented on status of book, but a press release about the memoir says: “Prince will take readers on an unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work.” It says the book will include stories about Prince’s music and “the family that shaped him and the people, places, and ideas that fired his creative imagination.”
A small group of fans quickly gathered in the rain Thursday outside his music studio, Paisley Park, where Prince’s gold records are on the walls and the purple motorcycle he rode in his 1984 breakout movie, “Purple Rain,” is on display. The white building surrounded by a fence is in Chanhassen, about 20 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
Steven Scott, 32, of Eden Prairie, said he was at Paisley Park last Saturday for Prince’s dance party. He called Prince “a beautiful person” whose message was that people should love one another.
“He brought people together for the right reasons,” Scott said.
Whole Foods sues customer who falsely accused it of putting anti-gay slur on cake
In the first video shown below, A Whole Foods customer shows what he claims is an “unopened” box for the cake that he bought at Whole Foods, and shows that there is an anti-gay slur on the cake. He points out that the price sticker on the side and bottom of the box proves that the box has not been opened.
The customer then sued Whole Foods over the slur.
In the second video, Whole Foods responds by showing its security footage, which shows that when the customer bought the cake, the price sticker was actually on top of the box, not on the side, thus proving that the customer had indeed opened the box.
Whole Foods is now countersuing the customer for knowingly filing a false lawsuit.
I hope Whole Foods wins its lawsuit.

Apparently, wearing your own culture’s clothing is a form of cultural appropriation!
Social justice warriors at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are demanding that two students of Arabic heritage be expelled from the college because they wore Arabic clothing!
Let me repeat: the “offending” students – the students who were accused of “cultural appropriation” – are of Arabic heritage and were wearing Arabic clothing.
Those two students are in the bottom right of the picture, shown below.
The social justice warriors also want everyone else in the picture expelled too.
After being told that the two students wearing Arabic clothing were themselves of Arabic descent, one of the social justice warriors who had demanded their explusion said:
“Although that story might justify on an individual level, it does not justify on a systemic level because when people see it, they don’t know that story. When they see it, they see it as a justification for wearing cultural costumes.”
Four different social justice oragnizations at the college – “Students for Justice in Palestine,” “Black Students for Revolution,” “Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan,” and “Campus Union for Trans Equality and Support” – all joined together to form a brand new social justice organization called “Not Just a Party at UIUC” (NJAP).
Apparently, it never occurred to them that the acronym “NJAP” contains a racial slur.
That they would form a brand new organization in response to some students having a party that consisted of consenting adults is absurd.
That they would demand that everyone who attended the party be expelled is also absurd.
That they would consider it “cultural appropriation” when students wear clothing from their own culture, well, that’s absurd too.

Here is another bogus claim that a gun “accidentally went off”
Here is another bogus claim that a gun “accidentally went off.”
The claim is wrong.
That is not what happened.
What did happen is that some idiot human being pulled the gun’s trigger.
This moron, who shot and killed his own four-year-old daughter, violated all three of the three most important gun safety rules:
1) Always assume that the gun is loaded.
2) Never point the gun at anyone you don’t intend to shoot.
3) Don’t put your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to shoot.

‘Fight for 15′ Protesters Invade Fast Food Restaurant, Invite Worker to Go on ‘Strike’ — Just Watch How She Responds
April 15, 2016
A group of “Fight for 15” protesters invaded a Taco Bell restaurant in Austin, Texas, on Thursday and invited a worker to go on “strike” to demand more money and better working conditions.
The protesters’ message wasn’t well received by the employee, who said she just wanted to do her job.
After one protester informed her it was a “day of action,” the employee responded sharply, “This is also a job that I am trying to do.”
“Y’all are hindering my work, you may leave the building,” she added.
The apparent leader of the protest still finished his speech and invited her to go on “strike” and join the protest — but she didn’t seem interested in the least.

‘Anti-vax’ mother’s regret over whooping cough ‘nightmare’
April 6, 2016
An Australian mother has said she regrets refusing the whooping cough vaccination during pregnancy after she passed the potentially fatal infection to her newborn baby.
Cormit Avital said she had turned down the vaccination because she was a “healthy, fit, organic woman”.
She caught the disease shortly before giving birth and passed it to Eva, who has spent a month in intensive care.
Ms Avital recorded a video warning about her “nightmare” experience.
“If I could turn back time I would protect myself,” she said, in the video released by Gold Coast Health, the regional health authority.
‘A lot of suffering’
Ms Avital contracted whooping cough, also known as pertussis, around the time she gave birth, and was told she had passed it to Eva.
Within two weeks, Eva’s cough “became pretty scary, horror movie, coughing to the point of going blue, flopping in my hands, can’t breathe,” she said.
“For a moment there you think they’re dead in your hands. [It’s] a lot of suffering for a tiny little cute thing you love so much.”
What’s behind the ‘anti-vax’ movement?
The mother who is “angry as hell” with anti-vaccination movement
Gold Coast Health Staff Specialist Dr Paul Van Buynder told the BBC that Eva’s condition was improving.
She is likely to be released from hospital in coming weeks.
Dr Buynder said more than 20,000 pertussis cases were recorded in Australia last year, and “sadly this is becoming more common”.
“There’s always a feeling of pregnancy being this special state and you don’t want to put anything into your body, but what’s really bad for your baby is to get whooping cough or influenza”, Dr Buynder added.
Newborns are highly susceptible to the infection until they start vaccination at two months old.
NPR unintentionally reveals the existence of “black privilege”
This three minute audio segment from NPR is called “Blind hiring, while well meaning, may create unintended consequences.”
It says that “blind hiring” is a process where job applicants are interviewed by computer instead of in person, so there is no bias regarding gender or race. Applicants are given online tests such as doing a math problem, or writing computer code.
I think this is a great idea.
In the NPR audio segment, the “unintended consequence” of “blind hiring” is explained by a black female college student, who complains that under “blind hiring,” she would not get special treatment.
In the comment section, someone wrote:
“The response of the black female student to blind hiring shows that in today’s job market male whites are not the privileged group.”
I think that commentor makes a great point.
It appears as if NPR has unintentionally revealed the existence of “black privilege.”
