Here’s How Breitbart And Milo Smuggled Nazi and White Nationalist Ideas Into The Mainstream
A cache of documents obtained by BuzzFeed News reveals the truth about Steve Bannon’s alt-right “killing machine.”
October 5, 2017
It’s a relationship illustrated most starkly by a previously unreleased April 2016 video in which Yiannopoulos sings “America the Beautiful” in a Dallas karaoke bar as admirers, including the white nationalist Richard Spencer, raise their arms in Nazi salutes.
“Finally doing my big feature on the alt right,” Yiannopoulos wrote in a March 9, 2016, email to Andrew “Weev” Auernheimer, a hacker who is the system administrator of the neo-Nazi hub the Daily Stormer, and who would later ask his followers to disrupt the funeral of Charlottesville victim Heather Heyer. “Fancy braindumping some thoughts for me.”
“It’s time for me to do my big definitive guide to the alt right,” Yiannopoulos wrote four hours later to Curtis Yarvin, a software engineer who under the nom de plume Mencius Moldbug helped create the “neoreactionary” movement, which holds that Enlightenment democracy has failed and that a return to feudalism and authoritarian rule is in order. “Which is my whorish way of asking if you have anything you’d like to make sure I include.”
“Alt r feature, figured you’d have some thoughts,” Yiannopoulos wrote the same day to Devin Saucier, who helps edit the online white nationalist magazine American Renaissance under the pseudonym Henry Wolff, and who wrote a story in June 2017 called “Why I Am (Among Other Things) a White Nationalist.”
The three responded at length: Weev about the Daily Stormer and a podcast called The Daily Shoah, Yarvin in characteristically sweeping world-historical assertions (“It’s no secret that North America contains many distinct cultural/ethnic communities. This is not optimal, but with a competent king it’s not a huge problem either”), and Saucier with a list of thinkers, politicians, journalists, films (Dune, Mad Max, The Dark Knight), and musical genres (folk metal, martial industrial, ’80s synthpop) important to the movement. Yiannopoulos forwarded it all, along with the Wikipedia entries for “Alternative Right” and the esoteric far-right Italian philosopher Julius Evola — a major influence on 20th-century Italian fascists and Richard Spencer alike — to Allum Bokhari, his deputy and frequent ghostwriter, whom he had met during GamerGate. “Include a bit of everything,” he instructed Bokhari.
“I think you’ll like what I’m cooking up,” Yiannopoulos wrote to Saucier, the American Renaissance editor.
“I look forward to it,” Saucier replied. “Bannon, as you probably know, is sympathetic to much of it.”
Five days later Bokhari returned a 3,000-word draft, a taxonomy of the movement titled “ALT-RIGHT BEHEMOTH.” It included a little bit of everything: the brains and their influences (Yarvin and Evola, etc.), the “natural conservatives” (people who think different ethnic groups should stay separate for scientific reasons), the “Meme team” (4chan and 8chan), and the actual hatemongers. Of the last group, Bokhari wrote: “There’s just not very many of them, no-one really likes them, and they’re unlikely to achieve anything significant in the alt-right.”
“Magnificent start,” Yiannopoulos responded.
When Milo Yiannopoulos holds a press conference to explain why UC Berkeley canceled his upcoming speech, he should just go ahead and give the speech at the press conference
According to this article from NPR, UC Berkeley has cancelled Milo Yiannopoulos’s upcoming speech that had been been scheduled to take place next week, because the necessary paperwork had not been filled out. It also says that Yiannopoulos will hold a press conference this Saturday to explain why his speech was canceled.
If lack of proper paperwork is the real reason for the cancellation, then they can just reschedule at a future date.
When Yiannopoulos holds the press conference to explain why the school canceled his speech, he should just go ahead and give the speech at the press conference. Way more cameras, way more media attention.

Bucknell professor Marcellus Andrews says social justice warriors should “impose a steep and lasting price” on conservative and libertarian students, and implies that they should “rearrange their faces and snap their bones”
Imagine if the roles had been reversed, and that the student had emailed these things to the professor, instead of the other way around. Then the student would have been expelled, and criminal charges would have been filed against the student.

Transcript:
On Monday, January 16th, Bucknell Professor Marcellus Andrews wrote an open email to the Bucknell community addressing his concerns about discrimination on campus in light of the rise of Donald Trump to the White House. In his email, the professor specifically singled out the conservative and libertarian students at Bucknell, calling us “racists and fascists” for arranging a guest lecture event that occurred almost a year ago.
Alarmingly, Professor Andrews claimed that students who felt targeted by last February’s speaker needed “to be able to impose a steep and lasting price on the racists and fascists” that organized the event. In the same email, Andrews claims that in his younger days, when he was “extremely skilled at combat,” he would respond to fascists and racists by rearranging their faces and snapping their bones in order to change their minds.
CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill says “there have been right wing riots on college campuses” but can’t name any examples

“there have been right wing riots on college campuses”
However, when he is asked to name an actual real world example of this, he can’t come up with any.

I’m going to make an even broader generalization:
In the United States during the 21st century so far, whether it be on or off college campuses, whenever there has been an organized group of political protestors assaulting innocent people, pepper spraying innocent people, throwing rocks and bottles at police officers, committing arson, burning cars, burning buildings, smashing windows, looting, vandalizing cars while the terrified innocent driver is inside, standing in the street deliberately blocking traffic, or standing in front of and blocking oncoming ambulances that have their lights on and sirens blaring, these organized groups of political protestors have always been on the political left, and never on the political right.
And if I am wrong about this, please point out an example in the comment section.

Milo: White Nationalism is Not the Answer
January 26, 2017
Breitbart News Senior Editor MILO declared that “white pride,” “white nationalism,” and “white supremacy,” are not the answer during his talk at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs tonight, urging people to avoid fighting left-wing identity politics with identity politics.
“The reality is, if you force everyone to play identity politics, if you insist in pitting whites against blacks, women against men, straights against gays, the reality is you guys are gonna win and the left isn’t going to like it very much,” declared MILO. “But there’s a better way. Don’t fight identity politics with identity politics.”
“White pride, white nationalism, white supremacy isn’t the way to go,” he continued. “The way to go is reminding them and yourselves that you should be aspiring to values and to ideas.”
“You should be focusing on what unites people and not what drives them apart,” MILO concluded. “You shouldn’t give a shit about skin color, a shit about sexuality… You shouldn’t give a shit about gender, and you should be deeply suspicious of the people who do.”
For the curious, here’s the last speech that Milo Yiannopoulos gave before the Berkeley riots
For anyone who has never heard a Milo Yiannopoulos speech and is curious to know what all the fuss is about, this is the last speech that he gave before the Berkeley riots. This speech was given at Cal Poly on January 31, 2017 – just one day before the Berkeley riots.
And while you’re watching this speech, please keep in mind that more than 100 UC Berkeley faculty members signed a petition to ban Milo from speaking at UC Berkeley the very next day. Every Milo speech is different, but this speech from Cal Poly is representative of what these UC Berkely professors, and all of the other anti-free speech social justice warriors, don’t want you to hear, spoken by someone whom they claim is a Nazi.
I’m guessing that Milo has become about 1,000 times more popular than he ever would have been if people hadn’t tried to silence him.

How Violence Undermined the Berkeley Protest
February 2, 2017
I saw someone wearing all black walk up to a student wearing a suit and say, “You look like a Nazi.” The student was confused, but before he could reply, the black-clad person pepper-sprayed him and hit him on the back with a rod.
I ran after the student who was attacked to get his name and more information. He told me that he is a Syrian Muslim. Before I could find out more, he fled, fearing another attack.
Disgusting! More than 100 UC Berkeley faculty signed a petition to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking!
More than 100 UC Berkeley faculty members signed a petition to prevent Milo Yiannopoulos from speaking.
This is absolutely disgusting.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Here is the petition and the faculty members who signed it. (The document continues after the first set of signatures, and there are other signatures after that first set.)

Yiannopoulos: ‘The Left is absolutely terrified of free speech’
February 1, 2017
Milo Yiannopoulos blamed “violence from the left” for the cancellation of his scheduled UC Berkeley appearance Wednesday evening.
Shortly after the Breitbart News editor’s event was called off, he posted a statement on his Facebook page:
“I have been evacuated from the UC Berkeley campus after violent left-wing protestors tore down barricades lit fires, threw rocks and Roman candles at the windows and breached the ground floor of the building. My team and I are safe. But the event has been cancelled. I’ll let you know more when the facts become clear. One thing we do know for sure: the Left is absolutely terrified of free speech and will do literally anything to shut it down.”
In a subsequent interview with Fox News, Yiannopoulos said UC Berkeley is “a liberal campus. They hate libertarians or conservatives who dare to express an opinion on their campus. They particularly don’t like me.”
The self-described “libertarian, gay, Trump-supporting provocateur” said college campuses are places where “you should be able to engage with different ideas.”
Those who attend his appearances, he said, include people who “don’t necessarily agree with me but just want to hear the other side. They were prevented from doing so this evening by violence from the left — the left that is terrified of anyone who they think might be persuasive or might be interesting or might take people with them.”

YouTube disables Milo Yiannopoulos livestream hours before immigration speech in New Mexico
YouTube has the ability to broadcast events live as they happen, but YouTube decided that it would not allow it in this particular case. Only after Milo Yiannopoulos finished his speech did YouTube allow him to put it up on his channel. So here it is:

YouTube Disables MILO Livestream Hours Before Immigration Speech in New Mexico
January 27, 2017
YouTube disabled Breitbart News Senior Editor MILO’s livestreaming ability on Friday, just hours before his speech on immigration at the University of New Mexico.
MILO’s ability to host livestreams was withdrawn from YouTube after his video “MILO At UC – Colorado Springs: Democrats Are The ‘Party Of The Cuckold,’” was flagged and subsequently removed.
“Your video ‘MILO At UC – Colorado Springs: Democrats Are The ‘Party Of The Cuckold’ was flagged for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines,” YouTube declared in a notice to MILO. “We’ve removed it from YouTube and assigned a Community Guidelines strike, or temporary penalty, to your account.”
Though MILO has appealed the channel restrictions, YouTube has yet to remove the livestream ban.
Consequently, MILO’s speech at the University of New Mexico tonight will not be livestreamed. The speech will be posted in its entirely to MILO’s YouTube channel after the event as usual, but fans will not be able to watch it live.
