And so it happens yet again. Another Asian person has been murdered because the people in charge decided to release a violent criminal who should have been in jail.

In Riverside, California, a woman named Darlene Stephanie Montoya was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. However, the evil scumbags who are in charge decided to release her without bail. A week later, she murdered a 64-year-old Asian woman.

I keep posting news stories like this to show how little regard the leaders of many Democatic-run cities have for protecting innocent people from violent criminals.

We don’t need to pass hate crime laws.

We don’t need to pass a federal law to protect women.

We don’t need more laws against guns.

Instead, what we need is to enforce the laws that are already on the books.

For whatever reason, in many Democratic-run cities, the people in charge have decided to side with the violent criminals, instead of with the innocent, law abiding people who live in those cities.

Here are some of the other recent examples of this:

In New York City, before a scumbag named Ryan Cato murdered a 10-year-old boy, Cato had already committed two other violent crimes in the past year.

The New York Times reported:

“Mr. Cato has been arrested at least twice before, including in December on charges of assaulting a woman by strangling her, and last February on charges of assaulting a school-bus driver, a police official said.”

So why wasn’t he already in jail?

In San Francisco, a violent serial criminal named Troy Ramon McAlister was repeatedly allowed to roam free.

They let him out on parole.

When he repeatedly violated his parole, they repeatedly refused to put him back in jail.

Eventually, he stole a car, drove through a red light, and killed two people.

If the liberals had kept him in jail for his many previous, violent crimes, those two people would still be alive.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan defended the insurrectionist “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” and called it “patriotic.”

Instead of arresting these violent, insurrectionist criminals, Durkan allowed them to continue with their criminal activities.

During the time that Durkan refused to arrest these criminals, the CHAZ area had a 525% spike in crime. Compared to similar, previous time periods, the CHAZ area had 2 additional murders, 6 additional robberies, and 16 additional aggravated assaults (include 2 additional non-fatal shootings).

The graphic video below shows a masked Antifa thug using a metal bike lock to smash the head of an innocent Trump supporter at Berkeley, California, in April 2017.

In addition, the same masked Antifa thug also hit six other innocent Trump supporters in the head with the same metal bike lock.

Some awesomely talented amateur sleuth observers at 4chan later identified the thug based on his partially visible face, his clothing, and several other things.

He’s a Diablo Valley College “ethics” professor named Eric Clanton.

He was convicted of his violent crimes.

But the left wing, progressive city of Berkeley, California gave him zero jail time for his brutal assaults.

Zero jail time, for brutally hitting seven innocent people in the head with a metal bike lock.

In 2017, Senator Kamala Harris praised Dr. Seuss. In 2021, the administration of Vice President Kamala Harris removed Dr. Seuss from Read Across America Day.

Kamala Harris’ tweet about Dr. Seuss resurfaces amid racial controversy

By Emily Jacobs

March 3, 2021

A 2017 tweet from Vice President Kamala Harris has resurfaced mentioning Dr. Seuss by name and quoting him, four years before her own administration would strip his name from Read Across America Day.

Harris was a senator when she sent out the tweet, dated March 2, 2017, in which she wished the famed children’s book author a happy birthday.

“Happy birthday, #DrSeuss! ‘The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go,’” the California senator wrote at the time.

The birthday of Dr. Seuss — whose real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel and who died at 87 in 1991 — was chosen by the National Educational Association in 1998 as the date for a new holiday focused on promoting children’s literacy.

This year, President Biden had mentions of Dr. Seuss scrubbed from his presidential proclamation after the late author was accused of including “racial undertones” in some of his classic, whimsical tales for children.

Dr. Seuss’ work has become the center of controversy recently following a study highlighting a lack of diversity among the author’s characters.

“Of the 2,240 (identified) human characters, there are forty-five characters of color representing 2% of the total number of human characters,” according to a 2019 study from the Conscious Kid’s Library and the University of California that examined 50 of Dr. Seuss’ books.

Last week, a Virginia school district ordered its teachers to avoid “connecting Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss” because of recent research that allegedly “revealed strong racial undertones” in many of the author’s books.

As controversy continued to swirl, the company that oversees the publishing of Dr. Seuss’ works said it would be scrapping six of the books — “If I Ran the Zoo,” “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”

When asked about why Biden’s proclamation declined to include Dr. Seuss on Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki referred reporters to the Department of Education.

“I think it is important that children of all backgrounds see themselves in the children’s books that they read, but I would point you to the Department of Education for any more details on the writing of the proclamation,” Psaki said in the White House briefing room.

A Harris spokesperson did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on the tweet.

Kamala Harris tweeted support for a bail fund, but the money didn’t just assist protesters

September 3, 2020

One defendant, Jaleel Stallings, was charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting at police during protests on May 30, county records show. MFF paid $75,000 in cash to get Stallings out of jail, according to MFF interim director Greg Lewin.

MFF also paid $750 toward a bond for Chylen Evans, who was charged with looting a liquor store, clothing store and mobile store.

On Aug. 10, Minneapolis television station KMSP aired a report documenting how, after receiving the torrent of donations, MFF had bailed out a number of people charged with violent crimes, including posting $100,000 for a woman accused of killing a friend and $350,000 for a twice-convicted rapist charged with kidnapping, assault and sexual assault in two separate cases.

After Lyden’s report aired, Lionel Timms, a man whom MFF bailed out on an assault charge in July, was charged with committing third-degree assault on Aug. 14, leaving the victim with a traumatic brain injury and a fractured skull.

Now we have this newest violent scumbag who got bailed out by the same bail fund:

Rapist bailed out by Minnesota Freedom Fund after being charged in new cases now wanted on felony warrant

March 1, 2020

A twice-convicted rapist who was bailed out of jail by the Minnesota Freedom Fund last summer after being charged in two new cases involving sexual assault, kidnapping and assault is now wanted on a felony warrant for failing to comply with conditions of his release, according to court records.

Alpha News reported last March that level 3 sex offender Christopher Don Boswell was facing 10 felony charges in two new cases, both of which included kidnapping and third-degree assault. Other charges in the cases included second-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree assault and threats of violence.

Boswell, now 38, had been previously convicted in two separate sexual assault cases, one with an unknown female teen and another with a known adult female. Boswell used force, threats and weapons to gain compliance from his victims in those cases, according to information from the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

Following charges last year in the two new cases, Boswell remained in custody for several months on high bail amounts until the Minnesota Freedom Fund paid $350,000 to bail him out, according to a Fox 9 report last August.

Recent court records indicate that a felony warrant was issued for Boswell’s arrest on Feb. 11 in one of the cases following a conditional release violation report and an order revoking Boswell’s interim conditions of release. At the time of this publication, Boswell remains at large on the warrant in that case in which he is charged with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of threats of violence and second and third-degree assault.

Records indicate the other case against Boswell involving four charges that included sexual assault and kidnapping was dismissed in October.

Minnesota Freedom Fund

The Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) gained notoriety during last spring’s fiery riots in Minneapolis after raising over $30 million. The organization solicited the donations during the riots on the premise that the money would be used to bail out protesters arrested during the demonstrations that followed the death of George Floyd while in Minneapolis police custody last May.

The bail fund gained steam after it was promoted by then-senator Kamala Harris and several members of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign staff, as well as celebrities including Don Cheadle, Seth Rogan, Chrissy Teigen, Steve Carell, Cynthia Nixon and others.

Since that time, however, it’s been reported that only a miniscule amount of the funds raised by MFF have been used to bail out protesters. Instead, the organization has used the funds to bail out several Minnesota offenders charged with violent crimes. In addition to Boswell, the fund has reportedly bailed out suspects charged with murder, attempted murder, assault and child rape.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman went so far as to make a public statement about MFF last month after it twice bailed out 29-year-old Thomas Moseley, a suspect Freeman described as raising “significant concerns for public safety.” Moseley was charged in October with bringing a gun into the Hennepin County Courthouse during a protest. Officers then executed a search warrant on Moseley’s vehicle where they found a cache of weapons, ammunition, tactical gear and narcotics. MFF paid $5,000 for Moseley’s unconditional release following the weapons charge.

Moseley was again arrested and charged with second-degree riot following a New Year’s Eve melee in downtown Minneapolis that involved vandalism and property damage. MFF again paid $60,000 for Moseley’s unconditional release following that charge.

Earlier this month, Rep. Paul Novotny, R-Elk River, introduced a bill designed to regulate “charitable bail organizations” like Minnesota Freedom Fund. Language in HF583 would limit charitable bail organizations from depositing cash bail for felony offenses and would also prohibit them from providing cash bail in excess of $2,000, among other provisions.

Novotny also introduced HF128 which would make information about persons or entities posting bail for defendants a matter of accessible public record.

Novotny told an Alpha News reporter in a phone conversation earlier this month that he doesn’t expect the bills to get a hearing in the Democrat-controlled public safety committee. However, language in the bills could make it into a public safety omnibus bill, Novotny said.

Sen. Graham says Kamala Harris could be impeached if GOP takes over the House

By Mark Moore

February 14, 2021

Sen. Lindsey Graham warned that Republicans could move to impeach Vice President Kamala Harris — arguing that former President Donald Trump’s Senate impeachment trial over provoking the Capitol riot “opened Pandora’s Box.”

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” a day after the Senate voted 57-43 to acquit the former president on a single charge of “incitement of insurrection,” the South Carolina Republican argued that the vice president’s support for a fund that bailed out protesters over the summer could leave her liable for the same punishment.

“And if you use this model, I don’t know how Kamala Harris doesn’t get impeached if the Republicans take over the House,” Graham said.

“Because she actually bailed out rioters and one of the rioters went back to the streets and broke somebody’s head open. So we’ve opened Pandora’s Box here and I’m sad for the country?”

Graham was referring to Harris’ support of the Minnesota Freedom Fund, before she became President Biden’s running mate, which helped protesters post bail.

“If you’re able to, chip in now to the @MNFreedomFund to help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” she said on Twitter in June.

But the fund, which opposed the concept of cash bail, was used to secure the relief of a number of convicted violent criminals as well as protesters over the summer who were rallying against the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

A Fox News report found that among the people bailed out by the MFF were a suspect who shot at police, a twice-convicted sex offender, and a woman accused of killing a friend.

It wasn’t clear who allegedly “broke somebody’s head open,” however.

Graham also spoke about the possibility of impeaching Harris in an interview earlier this month with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, when he tried to discourage Democrats from calling witnesses in Trump’s impeachment trial, noting that it would prolong the proceedings and implicate Harris.

“If you’re going to pursue this, and you want to start calling witnesses, and you want to drag this thing out, it would be fair to have Kamala Harris’ tape play where she bailed people out of jail,” Graham said.

“What more could you do to incite future violence, than to pay the bail of the people who broke up the shops and beat up the cops,” Graham added. ”How’s that not inciting future violence? Be careful what you wish for, my Democratic colleagues, be careful what you wish for.”

During the trial, Trump’s legal team played a series of videos in their defense of Trump showing a number of Democrats urging followers to “fight,” including Harris, to make their case that the former president’s comments at a rally of supporters before the storming of the Capitol did not incite the crowd.

The Senate acquitted Trump of provoking the riot by a 57-43 vote, which fell far short of the 67-vote margin needed to convict.

Graham, who was among the Republicans who voted to acquit, said the former president may have pushed “narratives about the election that I think are not sound and not true,” but he does not believe that Trump’s words incited the mob.

“The president is a handful and what happened [at the Capitol] on 6 January was terrible for the country. But he’s not singularly to blame. Democrats have sat on the sidelines and watched the country being burned down for a year and a half and not said a damn word, and most Republicans are tired of the hypocrisy,” Graham said.

He also said he spoke Saturday night to Trump, who assured him he was looking to return to fighting for Republicans to regain their majorities in the Senate and House.

Washington Post Removes Horrible Kamala Harris ‘Joke’ Comparing Campaigning To Starving In Prison [18 months after its original publication]

Washington Post Removes Horrible Kamala Harris ‘Joke’ Comparing Campaigning To Starving In Prison

By Ashe Schow

January 22, 2021

Update: Washington Post Vice President of Communications, Kris Coratti, released a new statement regarding the altered article.

“As part of our Transfer of Power coverage and special sections produced on Biden and Harris, we repurposed and updated some of our strong biographical pieces about both political figures. The profile of Maya Harris was updated with new reporting, and while the original story remained available on The Lily (a separate section of The Post), we should have kept both versions of the story on The Post’s site (the original and updated one), rather than redirecting to the updated version. We have now done that, and you will see the link to the original at the top of the updated version,” Coratti told The Daily Wire in an emailed statement.

Original article:

Eighteen months ago, Vice President Kamala Harris was still campaigning to be the Democratic presidential nominee. At one point, she sat down with The Washington Post for a feature about her close relationship with her sister, Maya. The opening anecdote, however, cast Harris in an unfavorable light, as she “joked” about starving inmates and compared their conditions to what it was like campaigning for president.

That awful anecdote has now disappeared from the internet, as the Post replaced it with a comparison of the Harris sisters to John and Robert Kennedy, Reason’s Eric Boehm reported. The original article was published on July 23, 2019, but has since been “updated” and now carries a published date of January 11, 2021. The original opening paragraphs, posted by Boehm, are as follows:

It was the Fourth of July, Independence Day, and Kamala Harris was explaining to her sister, Maya, that campaigns are like prisons.

She’d been recounting how in the days before the Democratic debate in Miami life had actually slowed down to a manageable pace. Kamala, Maya and the rest of the team had spent three days prepping for that contest in a beach-facing hotel suite, where they closed the curtains to blot out the fun. But for all the hours of studying policy and practicing the zingers that would supercharge her candidacy, the trip allowed for a break in an otherwise all-encompassing schedule.

“I actually got sleep,” Kamala said, sitting in a Hilton conference room, beside her sister, and smiling as she recalled walks on the beach with her husband and that one morning SoulCycle class she was able to take.

“That kind of stuff,” Kamala said between sips of iced tea, “which was about bringing a little normal to the days, that was a treat for me.”

“I mean, in some ways it was a treat,” Maya said. “But not really.”

“It’s a treat that a prisoner gets when they ask for, ‘A morsel of food please,’ ” Kamala said shoving her hands forward as if clutching a metal plate, her voice now trembling like an old British man locked in a Dickensian jail cell. “‘And water! I just want wahtahhh….’Your standards really go out the f—ing window.”

Kamala burst into laughter.

The new opening now reads:

Finding people to trust in politics — a field full of mercenaries with their own interests at heart — can be a tough thing to do. It is no wonder so many people turn to family members: John F. Kennedy had Bobby, Joe Biden’s sister, Valerie, once ran his campaigns and Ivanka Trump has been one of the 45th president’s most visible advisers.

Kamala D. Harris has her younger sister, Maya Harris. The two are not only extremely close; during Kamala’s year-long presidential run, Maya served as her campaign chairwoman.

It is a job she for which she was uniquely qualified: She had been a senior adviser for Hillary Clinton in 2016, knows her sister better than anyone else and, professionally, is something of a yin to Kamala’s yang.

The partnership, however, did not yield the desired results, and Harris dropped out of the primary months before any votes were cast. Now, Maya Harris is stepping back from her sister’s career — at least officially, at least for now.

She has been far less visible in her sister’s public life since the elder Harris was named to the Democratic ticket in mid-August. Aides to the Vice President-elect have gone out of their way to emphasize that Maya will have no official role in the Biden-Harris administration, and Maya hopes to remove herself from the spotlight — in part to avoid even the tiniest semblance of the nepotism that defined the Trump era.

As Reason reported, the new version of the article also includes a new byline for political reporter Chelsea Janes, “who has authored several fawning pieces about Harris” in the past week alone.

Reason reached out to the Post about the update and whether there were any other examples of such changes. The Post’s communications manager told the outlet they “repurposed and updated some of our strong biographical pieces about both political figures,” but did not point to any other examples where this had been done. The Post also did not answer Reason’s question about “whether Harris’ team had requested the change.”

“[T]he decision to remove that specific passage—and to replace it with a puffy opening about how Maya has “been a constant companion along Kamala Harris’s journey into history”—is questionable at best. Yes, Harris’ inauguration as America’s first female vice president is historic, but that’s no reason to ignore or erase her troubling history as a cop and politician. It also raises questions about the Post’s approach to covering Harris going forward. At a time when legacy publications are increasingly seen as playing for one political “team” or the other, this type of editorial decision will not do anything to fix that perception—is there any doubt that the Post would not have treated an inartful comment from Mike Pence in the same way?” Reason wrote.

The result of Harris and other social justice warriors helping these violent and dangerous criminals has been absolutely disastrous to the regular, law-abiding people who live in Minnesota.

Insurance experts estimated that the damage caused by Black Lives Matter protestors in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region during 2020 could exceed $500 million.

This article about the Black Lives Matter protestors in Minneapolis is called, “Neighborhoods where stores were destroyed become food deserts overnight.”

As a high ranking government official who is protected by armed guards, Kamala Harris doesn’t have to worry about getting hurt by these kinds of criminals.

And as a person who lives in a safe neighborhood with easy access to grocery stores, she doesn’t have to worry about how to get food from the store to her home.

But for a lot of the regular, law-abiding people who live in Minneapolis, that’s not the case.

Because of the kinds of violent and dangerous criminals that Kamala Harris supports, many of the regular, law abiding people who live in Minneapolis no longer have easy access to get groceries or prescription drugs.

And now Kamala Harris is Vice President.

I wonder what she has in store for the rest of the country.

According to NPR, the Green New Deal offers “economic security” to people who are “unwilling” to work.

Source: https://apps.npr.org/documents/document.html?id=5729035-Green-New-Deal-FAQ

This proves that the people who created the Green New Deal have zero understanding of human nature.

According to the same NPR link, the Green New Deal wants to get rid of fossil fuels and nuclear power.

I wonder what they will do when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing.

Also, acccording to the same source, the Green New Deal also offers “safe, affordable, adequate housing” to everyone.

Meanwhile, I’d like to point out what government provided housing is actually like in the real world.

In the four minute video posted below, the housing conditions at a three bedroom apartment at a public housing project in the Bronx in New York City are absolutely horrible.

There are rats, roaches, and black mold.

There are leaks in every room.

And every time the tenant calls maintenance to ask for repairs, the government employees always make up some bogus excuse for why they can’t fix anything.

And why should the government employees fix anything, when they know they can’t get fired?

And as all of this is going on, the federal government is giving them $30 million per week to make these repairs.

Since they’re not actually making these repairs, what are they really spending that money on?

The video also says that at other apartments in the same building, sometimes there is no heat, sometimes there is no hot water, and sometimes there is even no running water at all.

Here’s the video:

Meet The Rioting Criminals Kamala Harris Helped Bail Out Of Jail

By David Marcus

August 31, 2020

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have a problem. They know it, the media knows it, everyone knows it.

For three months they have ignored the deadly rioting that spread across the nation’s cities on both coasts and in between. They insisted that what we were seeing was “mostly peaceful” protests and that Donald Trump and his evil allies were defaming decent Americans who just want social justice. Now they want to denounce these riots, but there is a problem: Harris is a financial supporter of the rioters she now claims to denounce.

Yes, that’s right, the Democrats’ vice presidential candidate was a huckster for a bail fund that sought to free violent criminals who were rioting on the streets of Minneapolis, and she was very effective at it. In the wake of deadly fires and looting, Harris asked her five million plus Twitter followers to donate money to bail out the “protesters” arrested in the riots. Let’s meet a few of the beneficiaries of her largesse, shall we?

Fox 9 News in Minneapolis did the research for us. Here are a few of the criminals they found Harris did a solid for.

Among those bailed out by the Minnesota Freedom Fund (MFF) is a suspect who shot at police, a woman accused of killing a friend, and a twice convicted sex offender, according to court records reviewed by the FOX 9 Investigators.

According to attempted murder charges, Jaleel Stallings shot at members of a SWAT Team during the riots in May. Police recovered a modified pistol that looks like an AK-47. MFF paid $75,000 in cash to get Stallings out of jail.

Darnika Floyd is charged with second degree murder, for stabbing a friend to death. MFF paid $100,000 cash for her release.

Christopher Boswell, a twice convicted rapist, is currently charged with kidnapping, assault, and sexual assault in two separate cases. MFF paid $350,00 [sic] in cash for his release.

Kamala Harris and her friends in the corporate media, otherwise known as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, will pretend this never happened and they are counting on voters to be too ignorant to know that it did. Harris was so eager to be on the rioters’ team that she literally raised money for them in the hopes that they could be released and foster further mayhem.

That on its own would be bad enough. But the fact that she is now attempting to pretend she was against all of this violence, and looting, and arson, and destruction from the get go is an insulting joke. Did Harris really think that peaceful protesters obeying the rules were the ones arrested in Minneapolis? Of course she didn’t. She just assumed that justifying the unrest would help Democrats’ political chances. Now that this has been shown to be false, she is trying to change her position. It’s way too late for that.

The American people aren’t stupid, they know exactly where Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party stood on the riots. They stood side by side with the rioters. That they have now cynically come to regret that position is, I suppose, a good thing. But it does not erase the harm done in lives, property, and opportunity that their approval of rioting did. We know whose side they were on, and it wasn’t the police. The American people will not forget that.

White supremacist Richard Spencer said, “I plan to vote for Biden and a straight democratic ticket.” Here’s why I’m not surprised.

By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)

August 24, 2020

Wikipedia says Richard Spencer

“is an American neo-Nazi, anti-semitic conspiracy theorist and white supremacist”

Spencer just made this tweet: (original, archive)

The text of Spencer’s tweet says:

“I plan to vote for Biden and a straight democratic ticket. It’s not based on “accelerationism” or anything like that; the liberals are clearly more competent people.”

Here’s why I’m not surprised.

The New York Times wrote the following about Joe Biden:

Joe Biden on Crime and Mass Incarceration

During the ’80s and ’90s, Mr. Biden helped shepherd a string of bills that transformed the criminal justice system – and, experts say, hurt America’s black communities.

As Joseph R. Biden Jr. makes his third run for the White House, he is being pressed to answer for his role in legislation that criminal justice experts say helped lay the groundwork for the mass incarceration that has devastated America’s black communities.

During the 1980s and 1990s, when Mr. Biden was a senator from Delaware, he and other leaders of the powerful Senate Judiciary Committee helped fashion a string of bills that overhauled the country’s crime laws.

Among the most significant were: the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984, which established mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenses; the 1986 Anti-Drug Abuse Act, which imposed harsher sentences for possession of crack than for possession of powder cocaine; and the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, which was essentially a catchall tough-on-crime bill.

That New York Times article links to this other New York Times article, which says:

Now, more than 25 years later, as Mr. Biden makes his third run for the White House in a crowded field of Democrats – many calling for ambitious criminal justice reform — he must answer for his role in legislation that criminal justice experts and his critics say helped lay the groundwork for the mass incarceration that has devastated America’s black communities. That he worked with segregationists to write the bills — an issue that recently dominated the political news and seems likely to resurface in Mr. Biden’s first debate on Thursday – has only added to his challenge. So has the fact that black voters are such a crucial Democratic constituency.

So it’s largely because of Biden that the punishment for crack cocaine is more severe than the punishment for powder cocaine. And Biden worked with segregationists to create this policy. And it has devastated the black community.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post wrote the following about Donald Trump:

3,100 inmates to be released as Trump administration implements criminal justice reform

The announcement came at a news conference to discuss the Trump administration’s progress on putting into place the First Step Act, a criminal justice bill President Trump signed into law in December.

Since the act’s passage, Rosen said, 1,691 people convicted of crack cocaine offenses also have received sentence reductions. That is because the measure retroactively applied a different sentencing law meant to resolve the disparity between penalties for those convicted of possessing crack cocaine and those convicted of possessing powder cocaine.

So it’s largely because of Trump that the sentencing disparities between crack cocaine and powder cocaine are being reduced and/or eliminated.

Meanwhile, the New York Times wrote the following about Kamala Harris:

Ms. Harris fought tooth and nail to uphold wrongful convictions that had been secured through official misconduct that included evidence tampering, false testimony and the suppression of crucial information by prosecutors.

Consider her record as San Francisco’s district attorney from 2004 to 2011. Ms. Harris was criticized in 2010 for withholding information about a police laboratory technician who had been accused of “intentionally sabotaging” her work and stealing drugs from the lab. After a memo surfaced showing that Ms. Harris’s deputies knew about the technician’s wrongdoing and recent conviction, but failed to alert defense lawyers, a judge condemned Ms. Harris’s indifference to the systemic violation of the defendants’ constitutional rights.

Ms. Harris contested the ruling by arguing that the judge, whose husband was a defense attorney and had spoken publicly about the importance of disclosing evidence, had a conflict of interest. Ms. Harris lost. More than 600 cases handled by the corrupt technician were dismissed.

Ms. Harris also championed state legislation under which parents whose children were found to be habitually truant in elementary school could be prosecuted, despite concerns that it would disproportionately affect low-income people of color.

She also defended Johnny Baca’s conviction for murder even though judges found a prosecutor presented false testimony at the trial. She relented only after a video of the oral argument received national attention and embarrassed her office.

And then there’s Kevin Cooper, the death row inmate whose trial was infected by racism and corruption. He sought advanced DNA testing to prove his innocence, but Ms. Harris opposed it. (After The New York Times’s exposé of the case went viral, she reversed her position.)

So Harris knowingly and deliberately kept innocent people in prison.

Harris opposed DNA testing that would have proved that someone on death row was actually innocent.

Spencer’s use of the word “liberal” in his tweet is not an accurate description of the actions of Biden or Harris that are described in those New York Times articles.

No real “liberal” would do those things.

Only an authoritarian would do those things.

Mispronouncing Kamala’s name is racist…until Biden does it

Mispronouncing Kamala’s Name Is Racist…Until Biden Does It

By Leah Barkoukis

August 13, 2020

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson made an unforgivable sin this week to the left while he was discussing Joe Biden’s pick of Kamala Harris as his running mate. He mispronounced her name.

Former Clinton adviser Richard Goodstein made a point of correcting him, saying he should get it right “out of respect for somebody who’s going to be on the national ticket, pronouncing her name right is actually kind of a bare minimum.”

Other outlets were more blunt, saying the mispronunciation amounted to racism.

“The failure to correctly pronounce Harris’ name — especially among those whose jobs it is to know — is just a racist dog whistle being used to belittle Harris, who is Black and Indian-American,” screeched Refinery29.

The Washington Post had a piece on how disrespectful it was and CNN even had an entire segment on it.

Taking all that into account, Carlson addressed the criticism on his program Wednesday evening saying that “any criticism of Kamala Harris is immoral, anyone who so much as mispronounces her name is a racist, that’s what they’re telling you.”

That’s not the end of the story, of course. Biden did the very same thing this week, mispronouncing his own running mate’s name.

Showing the clip, Carlson burst into laughter.

“It’s just too awesome! Just when you think darkness is descending, old Joe Biden shows up, and the sun begins to rise. Rescued again by Joe Biden. Thank you, Joe. What a bigot.”

On Kamala Harris: Joe Biden has named his 2020 running mate: authoritarianism.

On Kamala Harris

By Kevin D. Williamson

August 11, 2020

Joe Biden has named his 2020 running mate: authoritarianism.

American prosecutors wield awesome and terrible powers that lend themselves easily to abuse, and Senator Kamala Harris, formerly the attorney general of California, is an enthusiastic abuser of them.

Harris was a leader in the junta of Democratic state attorneys general that attempted to criminalize dissent in the matter of global warming, using her office’s investigatory powers to target and harass non-profit policy groups while she and her counterpart in New York attempted to shake down Exxon on phony fraud cases.

Until she was stopped by a federal court, Harris was laying subpoenas on organizations such as the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, a conservative-leaning group that is critical of Democratic global-warming proposals. She demanded private information that the organizations were not legally obliged to disclose, including financial information and donor lists, in order to be able to subject the supporters of right-leaning groups to legal and financial harassment. This was, as a federal judge confirmed, an obvious and unquestionable violation of the First Amendment.

It was also a serious abuse of power. Harris’s actions were coordinated with those of then attorney general Eric Schneiderman in New York, who argued — preposterously — that Exxon’s taking a different view of global warming was a form of securities fraud. This isn’t a conspiracy theory: They held a press conference and organized their effort into a committee, which they called AGs United for Clean Power.

This was not happening in a political vacuum. At approximately the same time, the IRS was being weaponized to harass and disadvantage right-leaning nonprofits and policy organizations, for example, leaking the confidential tax information of the National Organization for Marriage as an act of political retaliation, an offense for which the IRS was obliged to pay a settlement. (The IRS’s other abuses, as in the Lois Lerner matter, remain largely unpunished.) A lawyer with connections to Barack Obama and Andrew Cuomo attempted to extort billions of dollars from Chevron in a mammoth racketeering project that involved falsifying evidence and bribing judges, a project that was cheered on by green activists such as musician Roger Waters and Democratic operatives such as former Cuomo aide Karen Hinton, both of whom had negotiated for themselves a percentage of the settlement. That went on until a federal judge intervened on RICO grounds. Democratic voices in the media were calling for the authorities to — this part is even less subtle —“arrest climate change deniers,” a project to which activists such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. lent their voices.

And this was not idle talk: As with Harris’s abusive investigation in California, a legal pretext was offered, albeit a patently ridiculous one.

Harris’s self-serving prosecutorial abuses have been directed at political enemies, but they also put hundreds — maybe thousands — of people in jail or at risk of prosecution on wrongful grounds when it suited her agenda. As Lara Bazelon of the Loyola law school wrote in the New York Times:

In the context of Harris’s political vendettas, that eagerness to engage in “systemic violation of the defendants’ constitutional rights” is particularly terrifying.

In choosing this corrupt prosecutor as his vice-presidential candidate, Joe Biden has made a serious error, one that highlights his already substantial deficiencies in judgment.
