I believe that black lives matter. But here are 50 reasons why I do not support the organization that calls itself “Black Lives Matter.”

Marxism is such a horrible system that even the people who claim to be in favor of Marxism never actually move to Marxist countries.
On the contrary, all immigration related to Marxist countries is away from Marxist countries, and never into them.
Every year, thousands of Cubans risk their lives on homemade rafts to leave the country.
Meanwhile, none of the U.S. college professors, celebrities, or social justice warriors who praise Cuba ever actually moves there.
When the Berlin Wall came down, all of the immigration was from east to west, not the other way around.
In the U.S., none of the college professors, celebrities, social justice warriors, or other people who claim to be in favor of communism, ever actually moves to a communist country.
No one who was born in South Korea ever moves to North Korea. But people who were born in North Korea risk getting shot and killed by armed border guards while trying to escape to South Korea.
Marxists are so evil that they have actually murdered far, far more innocent civilians than the Nazis did.
Marxism is an absolutely despicable and evil ideology.

* 1) In December 2014, in Berkeley, Missouri, Alvin Henry Jones Jr., 62, died two days after Black Lives Matter protestors blocked an ambulance that was carrying him.
* 2) In January 2015, in Milton, Massachusettes, Black Lives Matter protestors blocked an ambulance that was carrying Richard McGrath, 82. The protestors chained themselves to barrels full of concrete to make especially sure that no vehicles could get by. In February 2016, after 10 of the protestors pled guilty to “willfully impending an emergency vehicle,” and were sentenced to six months of probation and 60 hours of community service, their spokesperson said that they were not sorry for what they had done.
* 3) In July 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee, Black Lives Matter protestors blocked an ambulance that was trying to get to a child, after the same Black Lives Matter protestors had blocked the same child’s parents’ car from taking him to the hospital.
* 4) In March 2016, in Chicago, Illinois, Black Lives Matter protestors blocked an ambulance that had its emergency sirens blaring. In this video, you can see that many of the protestors deliberately repositioned themselves so they were standing specifically, directly in front of the ambulance, even though its emergency sirens had already been blaring for quite some time:

Black Lives Matter claims to want to “protect” black people from the “racist” police.
The Official website for Black Lives Matter calls for getting rid of the police. Their exact words are:
“We call for a national defunding of police.”
However, in Seattle, after a black man drove his car into two white, female protestors who were standing in the middle of the road, Black Lives Matter called the police.
Calling the police because a black man hurt two white women is completely and totally 100% hypocritical on the part of Black Lives Matter.

One of the protestors who got hit by the car later died from her injuries.
After the incident happened, but before one of the protestors died from her injuries, Capt. Ron Mead of the Washington State Patrol said:
“Whether they’re protesters, whether they’re homeless, whether they’re broken down motorists, the freeway is simply not a safe place for pedestrians and we’ve said that steadfast… My hope is the result of this tragedy, the protesters will reconsider their desire to be on the interstate because I cannot guarantee their safety, plain and simple.”
I agree with everything that Mead says, except that I do not share his optimism that left wing idiots will stop standing in the middle of the street. This is not the first time that left wing idiots who were standing in the middle of the street ended up getting hit by an automobile. The left wing idiots didn’t lean from past incidents, so I doubt they will learn from this one.

“Enraged by the death of Trayvon Martin and the subsequent acquittal of his killer, George Zimmerman, and inspired by the 31-day takeover of the Florida State Capitol by POWER U and the Dream Defenders, we took to the streets”
Here’s what Black Lives Matter ignores regarding Trayvon Martin:
In Florida, after a school security camera showed Trayvon Martin marking graffiti, a search of his backpack showed that it contained 12 pieces of women’s jewelry, including silver wedding rings, and earrings with diamonds. The backpack also had a screwdriver, which is often used as a tool by burglars. Martin said that the jewelry belonged to a friend, but refused to say who that friend was.
Why would a teenage boy bring a backpack full of silver wedding rings and diamond earrings to school?
Do Martin’s millions of defenders really think that he was not a burglar?
The fact that Martin was in possession of stolen jewelry at school is perfectly in line with George Zimmerman’s claim on the 911 call that Martin was acting suspiciously. And there had been quite a few burglaries in the area recently.
Also on the 911 call, Zimmerman had said that Martin was acting as if he was on drugs. Martin’s autopsy showed that there was THC in his system. And while other parts of marijuana can stay in the system for weeks after it’s smoked, the THC only stays in the person’s system for a few hours. Therefore, Martin was indeed high when Zimmerman saw him.
George Zimmerman’s medical report showed that he had a broken nose, two black eyes, and that his head had been repeatedly slammed on the concrete.
So Trayvon Martin was a burglar, used illegal drugs, broke George Zimmerman’s nose, gave Zimmerman two black eyes, and smashed Zimmerman’s head against the concrete.
Black Lives Matter does not want people to know these things.
But Zimmerman’s jury knew these things, which is why the jury found Zimmerman not guilty.

Given that Brown had just committed theft and assault, and was worried about getting arrested for it, it’s certainly plausible that he would be willing to try to steal a gun from a police officer, which is what witnesses said Brown had tried to do. If these witnesses are telling the truth, then Michael Brown was indeed killed in self defense.

Idiotic Black Lives Matter supporters have vandalized a statue of a slave fleeing with her infant daughter outside a black church in New Albany.
The faces on the statue were painted red, similar to what we have seen done to statues of Confederate generals and Christopher Columbus, and tagged with “BLM.” Ironically though, the statue at the nearly 170-year-old Second Baptist Church is of former slave Lucy Higgs Nichols, escaping slavery with her baby.
The church was known for helping slaves who were fleeing during the civil war. Higgs Nichols went on to become a nurse in the Union Army.

Fidel Castro was the communist dictator of Cuba for more than 50 years. During that time, he kept the entire country’s population imprisoned on the island, not allowing them to leave. Despite this, many Cubans risked their lives trying to leave on homemade rafts. And although many U.S. college professors, celebrities, and social justice warriors have praised Castro and Cuba, none of them ever actually moved to Cuba when Castro was in power.

We are feeling many things as we awaken to a world without Fidel Castro. There is an overwhelming sense of loss, complicated by fear and anxiety. Although no leader is without their flaws, we must push back against the rhetoric of the right and come to the defense of El Comandante. And there are lessons that we must revisit and heed as we pick up the mantle in changing our world, as we aspire to build a world rooted in a vision of freedom and the peace that only comes with justice. It is the lessons that we take from Fidel.
From Fidel, we know that revolution is sparked by an idea, by radical imaginings, which sometimes take root first among just a few dozen people coming together in the mountains. It can be a tattered group of meager resources, like in Sierra Maestro in 1956 or St. Elmo Village in 2013.
Revolution is continuous and is won first in the hearts and minds of the people and is continually shaped and reshaped by the collective. No single revolutionary ever wins or even begins the revolution. The revolution begins only when the whole is fully bought in and committed to it. And it is never over.
Revolution transcends borders; the freedom of oppressed people and people of color is all bound up together wherever we are. In Cuba, South Africa, Palestine, Angola, Tanzania, Mozambique, Grenada, Venezuela, Haiti, African America, and North Dakota. We must not only root for each other but invest in each other’s struggles, lending our voices, bodies, and resources to liberation efforts which may seem distant from the immediacy of our daily existence.
Revolution is rooted in the recognition that there are certain fundamentals to which every being has a right, just by virtue of one’s birth: healthy food, clean water, decent housing, safe communities, quality healthcare, mental health services, free and quality education, community spaces, art, democratic engagement, regular vacations, sports, and places for spiritual expression are not questions of resources, but questions of political will and they are requirements of any humane society.
Revolution requires that the determination to create and preserve these things for our people takes precedent over individual drives for power, recognition, and enrichment.
A final lesson is that to be a revolutionary, you must strive to live in integrity. As a Black network committed to transformation, we are particularly grateful to Fidel for holding Mama Assata Shakur, who continues to inspire us. We are thankful that he provided a home for Brother Michael Finney Ralph Goodwin, and Charles Hill, asylum to Brother Huey P. Newton, and sanctuary for so many other Black revolutionaries who were being persecuted by the American government during the Black Power era. We are indebted to Fidel for sending resources to Haiti following the 2010 earthquake and attempting to support Black people in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina when our government left us to die on rooftops and in floodwaters. We are thankful that he provided a space where the traditional spiritual work of African people could flourish, regardless of his belief system.
With Fidel’s passing there is one more lesson that stands paramount: when we are rooted in collective vision when we bind ourselves together around quests for infinite freedom of the body and the soul, we will be victorious. As Fidel ascends to the realm of the ancestors, we summon his guidance, strength, and power as we recommit ourselves to the struggle for universal freedom. Fidel Vive!

The affordable housing development that burned late Wednesday in south Minneapolis was a six-story building with 189 units that was under construction and expected to open later this year.
The under-construction affordable housing development that burned in the widespread violence in south Minneapolis late Wednesday and early Thursday was to be a six-story rental building with 189 apartments for low-income renters, including more than three dozen for very low-income tenants.
Construction began last fall on Midtown Corner, which was expected to be completed and ready for occupancy this year. Late Wednesday the wood-framed upper floors of the building were fully engulfed in flames, with thick plumes of smoke that figured prominently in widely viewed photos of the riots. By Thursday morning, what had been an active construction site was reduced to a pile of smoldering ashes atop what was left of the concrete first-floor commercial space.

The owner of a small cupcake business in Cleveland that was destroyed and looted last month as riots broke out following the death of George Floyd says she’s being threatened with future harm and destruction for cooperating with police.
In an interview with “Fox & Friends” Monday, Kelly Kandah, owner of Colossal Cupcakes, a family business, said the threats include people telling her that if she rebuilds, “it’s going to get hit again.”
Kandah also said that she’s been getting complaints that cooperating with police investigators is “unfair,” that she should not be working with the FBI — ostensibly to identify who looted her store — and that what she’s doing is “against the cause, which I’m actually absolutely for the cause, but it’s upsetting people that I would involve the police of something such as property.”
The cupcake seller told the Fox News morning show hosts that she and four of her employees were forced to hide in fear in a bathroom on May 30 as rioters looted her store. She added that thanks to police intervention they saved her life that day.
