For not doing their jobs, Obama defends Muslims but jails a Christian
In May 2013, the Obama administration sued Star Transport, Inc., a trucking company based in Morton, Illinois, because it fired Muslim truck drivers who refused to drive trucks that were carrying alcoholic beverages.
However, earlier this week, the Obama administration pursued federal action against Kim Davis, a Christian court clerk in Rowan County, Kentucky, who refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, and a federal judge put her in jail.
Here’s my take on both of these incidents: if someone refuses to do their job, they should be fired. An employer who fires an employee for not doing their job should not be sued by the government. Putting someone in jail for not doing their job is something that only a totalitarian would support – anyone who believes in freedom and liberty would find such an action reprehensible.
Obama’s different standards for Muslims and Christians is deplorable. Whatever position the Obama administration takes for workers who refuse to do their jobs, it should have the same standards for Muslims and Christians.

Typically for a right winger you fail to understand the difference between a private employee and a government employee. In the private sector, anyone of any religion can’t be discriminated in employment. In the public sector, as a government employee, religion takes a back seat to offering government services to the public at large, the very same public paying taxes to the government expecting public services in return, whatever they may be, otherwise using one’s religion establishes a church within that government office, something that the Constitution doesn’t allow as there is a separation of church and state. Kim Davis (a hypcritical religious fanatic who is a 3-time divorcee on her fourth husband and who had twins out of wedlock spawned in an affair while still married to one of her other husbands) not only decided on the basis of her religion who she will and will not serve in her government office, but also decided for her employees in her office who they will and will not serve as well, again on the basis of her own religion. That’s what’s called an ISIS mentality. And since she couldn’t be fired, because she was elected to the position, the judge rightly saw fit to jail her for contempt as the only way to prevent her from keep doing her job, where she’ll remain at least until she cries uncle. Let’s see how firm her beliefs really are by how long she’ll be willing to be locked up. And if she still can’t do the job, she shouldn’t be working for any government office because she fails to meet the requirements of what’s expected of their employees. And no, no one owes her a government job nor does she have any right to have a government job either, so it’s not hers to have under any or all circumstances.
