On September 13, 2008, the Wall St. Journal accurately predicted “If You Like Michigan’s Economy, You’ll Love Obama’s.”

On September 13, 2008, the Wall St. Journal wrote:

If You Like Michigan’s Economy, You’ll Love Obama’s

From 1996 through 2006… Michigan lost 318,000 [jobs].


The Wall St. Journal’s prediction has come true.

As one example, take a look at this chart from businessinsider.com. The chart shows that the “recovery” under President Obama is far worse than past recoveries. (Click on the image to see a larger version):

    With all due respect, the food stamp numbers far more reflect the kinds of jobs that are “trickling down” from the billionaires … and the first chart shows how the 2007 recession went down for the last 12 months of the Bush presidency … then took a year for Obama to turn around … and it has been growing steadily since …
