Video: St. Louis couple pulls guns on trespassing protesters

These protestors are on private property on a private street. They went through a gate that was clearly labelled as “private street.” They then threatened to steal the guns from the homeowners. No shots were fired.

Law abiding black man uses legal gun to defend himself from five white racists who tried to kill him

By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)

June 19, 2020

I’m 100% in favor of self defense.

I’m 100% against murder.

I’m glad that this law abiding black man used his legal gun to defend himself from five white racists who were trying to murder him:

Black pastor arrested after calling 911 on people who allegedly attacked him; sheriff apologizes

WOODSTOCK, Va. (AP) — A sheriff in Virginia has apologized to a black pastor in Virginia who was arrested after calling 911 on a group of white people who threatened to kill him after trying to dump a refrigerator on his property.

Shenandoah County Sheriff Timothy Carter made the apology to Leon K. McCray Sr. of Woodstock Friday, announcing hate crime and assault charges against the five people involved and saying a weapons charge against the pastor would be dropped.

McCray described the events leading to his arrest in a sermon to parishioners at Lighthouse Church & Marketplace Ministries International.

He said he was visiting an apartment he owns in Edinburg on June 1 when he noticed a man and a woman dragging a refrigerator from another property into his dumpster, and they became irate when he asked them to leave.

McCray said they threatened him and returned with three more people, attacking him physically, saying “they don’t give a darn” about “my black life and the Black Lives Matter stuff,” and telling him they would “kill” him.

McCray said they backed up when he drew his legal concealed weapon to “save” his life, giving him enough time to call 911. Arriving deputies then took his gun while talking with the five, who continued threatening and yelling racist epithets at him.

They wouldn’t let him tell his side, he said; instead, he was “handcuffed in front of the mob,” for brandishing the handgun, and was driven away in handcuffs while the group stood with other deputies, waving at him as he went down the road.

McCray said the deputies rushed to judgment, “disarming a black male brandishing a gun against five white individuals” despite his “second Amendment right to defend myself against five attackers that tried to take my life.” The arrest “would not be tolerated if I was white,” he added.

“This was indeed the most humiliating, dehumanizing, damning and violating event of my life,” McCray said. “I’m a pastor, a decorated 24-year Air Force master sergeant veteran, no criminal record.”

Donny Richard Salyers, Dennis James Salyers, Farrah Lee Salyers, Christopher Kevin Sharp and Amanda Dawn Salyers are now being held without bond.

Sheriff Carter sat down with McCray two days after the incident. He said four of the five were already charged with assault or trespassing, but after hearing from the pastor, he initiated a review that led to additional charges against all five, and urged a prosecutor to drop the weapons charge against McCray.

“As I told Mr. McCray, if I were faced with similar circumstances, I would have probably done the same thing,” Carter said.

Also, two sheriff’s office supervisors have been placed on unpaid administrative leave while the investigation continues, Carter said.

Attorney Bradley G. Pollock, representing Sharp, told The Washington Post that his client and Amanda Salyers assumed they had permission to dump the refrigerator in McCray’s dumpster, and returned it to their own property after McCray confronted them.

The Post didn’t report any response by Pollock to the hate crime allegations, and lawyers for the other Salyers either declined to comment or didn’t respond.

“I want the people of Shenandoah County to know that I and the sheriff’s office staff appreciate and care about the minority communities, and especially our black community,” the sheriff said.

The Guardian falsely wrote: “a protester was shot as he tried to bring down conquistador statue.” Wrong! The guy who got shot in Albuquerque was not “trying to bring down a statue.” He was trying to murder someone. So the guy shot him in self defense.

By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)

June 17, 2020

This incident recently happened in Albuquerque.

The Guardian just published this article, which has the following headline and subheadline: (the bolding is mine)

“Armed vigilantes under scrutiny after statue protester shot in New Mexico”

“Armed militia members were out in force at demonstration when a protester was shot as he tried to bring down conquistador statue”

The article states:

“Steven Ray Baca, 31, shot a protester as he and others attempted to bring down a statue”

That’s not what happened.

The guy who got shot was not “trying to bring down a statue.”

Instead, the guy who got shot was trying to commit murder.

The shooting was self defense.

The shooter had just been assaulted by several members of Antifa. They beat him. They hit him with a skateboard. They knocked him down to the ground. And they verbally threatened to kill him.

Here’s a video which shows them attacking him. And then he shoots one of them in self defense:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjNSvexSLoQ

It’s very clear that the shooting was in self defense.

And it’s also very clear that the person who got shot was not “trying to bring down a statue.”

‘We can’t be afraid.’ In a Cincinnati church basement, black women take a class together: learning how to fire guns

‘We can’t be afraid.’ In a Cincinnati church basement, black women take a class together: learning how to fire guns

Ariel Gresham, left, and Nancy Robb, both of the Cincinnati area, hold unloaded revolvers during an all-female concealed carry and weapons class Saturday, February 8, 2020, at New Prospect Baptist Church in Roselawn sponsored Arm the Populace.

Kai Brown of Bond Hill gets instruction on how to hold a gun from Timm Penrod and Henry Ware, right, with Arm the Populace during an all-female concealed carry and weapons class at New Prospect Baptist Church Saturday, February 8, 2020.

By Sharon Coolidge

February 21, 2020

CINCINNATI – New Prospect Baptist Church has one of the largest black congregations in Cincinnati. On any weekend, you’ll find weddings, funerals and three Sunday services.

On Feb. 8, you would have found 179 women firing .22-caliber handguns in the church basement.

The church had opened its doors to what state officials believe is one of the largest women-only, concealed-carry certification classes in the state.

Over and over, the women cited the same reason for taking the class. They were tired of being scared — of guns, of being alone in a home, of walking in some neighborhoods.

Karen Bolden, 56, was so scared of her husband’s guns that she asked him to get rid of them when they married two years ago. He did, but she’s working to conquer her fear. When Bolden’s sister alerted her to the class and suggested they go together, she jumped at the chance.

“This is why this class is so important,” Bolden said. “We can’t be afraid.”

The class was organized by two men: the church’s pastor, the Rev. Damon Lynch III, and Cincinnati City Councilman Jeff Pastor, a Republican who appeared at the class sporting a T-shirt reading “All gun control is racist.”

The 179 women showed varying comfort levels with guns. Some had never touched one. Others own a gun but wanted the license needed to carry it. Some came because their mothers or sisters or friends suggested it.

The class was taught by Cincinnati-based Arm the Populace, a certified concealed-carry licensing business. The intense nine-hour class used a shooting range created just for the class in an empty storage area above the church’s community center.

Women paid $25 each to cover the cost of the space; that’s cheaper than the typical $65 class fee.

Arm the Populace donated its time.

A Pew Research Center report in 2017 delved into “America’s complex relationship with guns.” It found that gun ownership varied considerably by race and gender. Among men, 39% said they owned a gun, compared with 22% of women. And while 36% of whites reported that they were gun owners, only about a quarter of blacks and 15% of Hispanics said they were.

In the Cincinnati church class, 169 of the 179 women were black.

The class was broken into five groups, rotating into lessons about safety, laws, how to get a CCW license, which only a sheriff can issue, and then target practice.

Douglas Cooper, Arm the Populace’s founder and chief instructor, started the class by explaining: “The Second Amendment is for everyone,” he said.

Instructor Bill Maltbie then told the class why women-only classes are important.

“We do them so there are no men sitting there ‘mansplaining’ because they’ve played a lot of video games,” Maltbie said. “We’re not here for ‘Call of Duty.’ I just want to make sure I can go home at night and see my family.”

The pastor, Lynch, is not a proponent of guns, but he said: “New Prospect Baptist Church is more than a church. It’s the heart of the community.”

Without a recreation center, the church serves that need.

“I’m not a gun lover; I don’t own any guns, but people have Second Amendment rights to own a gun,” Lynch said. “In the African American community, the conversation is usually about buying guns back. But if people are lawfully trained and learn how to be responsible, they will probably never use one. It sets them on a different course. As opposed to a person who gets a gun and thinks, ‘I have to go shoot.’”

And that, Lynch said, “is a good thing.”

The shooting range was built with input from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. It was bare-bones: a sheet of wood tacked to a wall, on which targets were placed.

Tape was passed around. Bolden used it to hang her target on the wall.

Arms straight. Legs apart. Ten shots. An instructor guided her stance. She hit the target within a centimeter of the bull’s-eye.

Her sister, Sonya Jackson, was next. Same stance. An instructor lightly guided her arms into better position. Two bullets hit the target.

“I didn’t have my glasses,” Jackson noted to her sister.

Bolden told her, “You’ll just have to go with me to the range. Practice. Practice. Practice.”

Wayne Allyn Root: My 2020 New Year’s Gift to the Democratic Party

My 2020 New Year’s Gift to the Democratic Party

By Wayne Allyn Root

January 5, 2020

Here’s my 2020 New Year’s gift to the Democratic Party. This is a teachable moment. I’m going to teach Democrats how real Americans think.

Democrats live in a bubble. They believe the lies, fraud and “fake news” spouted by Democratic politicians, CNN, MSNBC, PBS and the mainstream media. They are never exposed to anything else, so they have no idea what real Americans think.

Look at the makeup of the Democratic Party. To me, “real Americans” are those born in the United States or those who came here legally who actually earn a living and pay into the system. These are the American voters who have earned the right to decide the direction of America. I call them the Silent Majority.

There were two teachable moments in the past week. Liberals have no clue how the Silent Majority thinks. The liberal reaction to both incidents is nothing short of a disaster for the Democratic Party. So let me explain to Democrats how real Americans think about these two life-and-death events.

First, we have the Texas church shooting. A hero shot the perp dead in seconds with one shot through the head. Bravo. Standing ovation. But if he had missed, six more churchgoers were already armed and ready to run toward the evildoer.

This is exactly how we must stop acts of evil and terrorism. The Second Amendment is there to protect good people. The way to protect churches and synagogues is with armed security, trained and armed volunteers, and parishioners in the audience legally allowed to carry guns.

Government can’t save you. Police can’t save you. If it is to be, it is up to me. We all need to take personal responsibility and learn to protect ourselves. The citizens are the true first responders. We must all understand that, now more than ever. This is the clear lesson real Americans learned from this incident.

Second was President Donald Trump’s decision to kill Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani with a missile strike. Soleimani was evil personified. The second most powerful man in Iraq, Soleimani coordinated the murder of hundreds of American soldiers. He was planning many attacks against American interests in Iraq. President Trump blew him to hell.

The mullahs of Iran and bad guys across the world (think Kim Jong Un of North Korea) are now on notice. America is no longer a paper tiger. We will fight back. There is a new sheriff in town. If you attack America or Americans, we will hunt you down, and you will die.

Real Americans support President Trump’s decision 100%. We are high-fiving — and we think any Democrat or Hollywood celebrity who defends evil Iran is a traitor to America.

Are you listening, Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? Are you listening, Rose McGowan and John Cusack?

So liberals, please accept this New Year’s gift. Proceed with caution on the topics of good citizens with guns defending themselves from bad guys and America defending itself from evil, murdering terrorist regimes. Real Americans believe in peace through strength.

Get this wrong and your Democratic Party will cease to exist as a viable political party. You’re welcome.

Video: When some idiot tried to carry out a mass shooting at a church in Texas, several other people immediately pulled out their own guns and stopped him. We’ll never know how many lives they saved.

I live in Squirrel Hill, where 11 innocent people were shot and killed at a synagogue last year.

In Texas, just today, when some idiot tried to carry out a mass shooting at a church, several other people immediately pulled out their own guns and stopped him.

It’s a good thing that it’s legal for law abiding citizens to carry guns in churches in Texas.

We’ll never know how many lives they saved.

Here’s a link to a video of the incident:

Suspect shoots and kills 2 inside a Texas church before parishioners fatally shoot him

December 29, 2019

A man shot and killed two people during a church service in White Settlement, Texas, on Sunday before two members of the church security team shot and killed him, authorities said.

City Police Chief J.P. Bevering said it appeared the shooter walked into West Freeway Church of Christ and sat down in the sanctuary, then stood, pulled out a shotgun and shot two parishioners.

“There was a security team inside the church and they eliminated the threat,” Bevering said.

Bevering praised the churchgoers who returned fire and killed the suspect as “heroic” and said there is no ongoing threat.

Matthew DeSarno, the FBI agent in charge of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, said the motive is unknown, and nobody knows yet whether the shooter targeted the victims. DeSarno said the investigation will determine whether the shooter was driven by any sort of ideology.

He didn’t identify the shooter, but said he was “relatively transient with roots to this area” and had been arrested multiple times in different municipalities.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said the incident was over within six seconds.

“This church has its own security team,” he said. “They were well trained. The heroism today is unparalleled. … Two of the parishioners who are volunteers on the security force drew their weapons and took out the killer immediately, saving untold number of lives.”

Video shows the shooting

A video livestream from the church, seen by CNN, appears to show how the shooting unfolded. The entire incident, from the time the shooter pulled out his gun until he was shot, took six seconds.

Lisa Farmer, the wife of the West Freeway Church of Christ Minister Britt Farmer, was not inside the church at the time of the shooting but said the video shows the inside of the church building.

The video, obtained by CNN affiliate KTVT, shows the shooter seated in a pew toward the rear of the church during the service. The shooter, dressed in dark clothes, approaches someone in the back corner and appears to talk to them. That individual gestures toward the center of the church.

The shooter pulled out a long gun and opened fire on the man before shooting a second man.

It appears that a man, toward the left of the screen, draws a handgun and fires. The shooter falls to the ground immediately. Three muzzle flashes are seen on the video.

The YouTube video has since been made private.

‘It was so chaotic’

The shooting happened during communion, Lisa Farmer told CNN.

“It was so chaotic,” she said. “I think all the congregation is being held inside, all being held for questioning.”

The church normally has around 280 people attending Sunday services, she said. She didn’t identify the congregant who died but described him as a close friend “who would do anything for anybody that he could. Good guy. He’s been there for us through thick and thin.”

Video of the scene from CNN affiliate KTVT showed several agencies present — including Fort Worth Police, Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar EMS. Several people could be seen outside the church, which was roped off with yellow police tape.

Guns are legal in Texas churches

The shooting comes more than two years after a gunman opened fire at a church in Sutherland Springs — a community about 300 miles away from White Settlement — killing at least 26 people.

After the Sutherland Springs shooting, the state loosened its gun laws to allow churchgoers to carry firearms into houses of worship.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott offered his condolences in the wake of the shooting.

Police got a call just before 10 a.m. about people with gunshot wounds at the church.

“Our hearts go out to the victims and families of those killed in the evil act of violence that occurred at the West Freeway Church of Christ,” he said.

“Places of worship are meant to be sacred, and I am grateful for the church members who acted quickly to take down the shooter and help prevent further loss of life.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he was “shocked and saddened” to hear about the shooting.

“As reports come in, please pray for any victims and their families, this congregation, and the law enforcement officials at the scene. My office will assist in any way needed,” he said.

Mom of 4 holds intruder at gunpoint for a terrifying 13 minutes until police arrive

Mom of 4 holds intruder at gunpoint for a terrifying 13 minutes until police arrive

June 4, 2019

A Tampa Bay mother held an intruder in her home at gunpoint for a terrifying 13 minutes until police arrived at the scene. Lauren Richards, a mother of four, initially made a call reporting a suspicious person on her property 21 minutes before police arrived.

On Saturday, May 25, 2019, Richards called 911 at 12:41 a.m., according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office representative.

“I tell [911] somebody just came into my door. He’s unfamiliar. I don’t recognize him,” Richards told WFLA.

While waiting for officers to arrive to the suspicious person call, Richards looked outside her home in Rolling Oaks Estates in Hudson, Fla., and noticed her mini-pig, Milton, had his nose to the ground. She realized the animal had picked up a scent and that someone either had been in her garage or was currently in her garage.

Richards, already afraid the man would break into her home, took her gun and entered the garage. Eight feet away was the intruder, identified as Devin Cooke, 25. Richards realized that her typically open garage door was now shut.

She placed a second call to police at 12:54 a.m.

In audio obtained by the station of the police call, Richards says, “I have a gun pointed and I need the police to show up immediately. I called 10 minutes ago and nobody has shown up.”

“The two calls were merged by dispatch approximately 90 seconds later, at 12:56 a.m., and additional units, including Air, K9 and a Sgt., were dispatched,” the representative of Pasco County Sheriff’s Office tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “Given the priority of the second call, those units responded with lights and sirens, as opposed to the first unit, who was en route following normal traffic laws, given the fact that the suspect had left the area and the call had been subsequently downgraded.”

While waiting for police, a neighbor, Hector Nieves, grabbed his gun and went over to help. His wife, Melodie, also called 911 during the incident.

“I want to make sure the cops know my husband went… with a gun over there to protect her,” Melodie told dispatch.

Hector told WFLA: “I’m just like I gotta help, you know. She’s got little kids. We held him at gunpoint until the cops showed up.”

The first unit, a sergeant, arrived on the scene at 1:07 a.m.

“Had she not had a gun and been ready to protect herself or call the neighbors, she might not be standing here,” Melodie told the outlet. “Who knows what would happen.”

In a police report provided to Yahoo Lifestyle, the intruder was allegedly under the impression that his grandparents had been murdered and he was distraught. He was transported for a mental health evaluation.

“On May 29, upon further investigation, a probable cause order was issued for Devin Cooke for the burglary charges. The medical facility where he was staying was alerted to this and a police hold was placed on him. This means that when he is able to be released from the facility, the facility will notify PSO and he will be released to our custody, under the burglary charge,” the representative says.

The representative continues: “Our priority is ensuring the safety of all parties involved. On May 25, our priority was to secure the scene and ensure both the caller and the suspect were unharmed. Given the substantial amount of witnesses during the incident, and the fact that the suspect remained in medical custody during that period, the investigation could be completed at a later date than the incident date.”

Good guy with a gun stops bad guy with a gun at Oregon school

According to this article from NBC News, a good guy with a gun just stopped a bad guy with a gun in Oregon.

And this happened at a school.

In a hallway full of students.

And the bad guy was carrying a backpack full of ammunition.

Who knows how many innocent people would have been killed if there had not been a good guy with a gun at the school.

Police bodycam video released showing fatal shooting of parent at Oregon school

Authorities said the shooting happened following a custodial dispute at the school.

January 25, 2019

Police bodycam video shows the moments right before an Oregon officer fatally shoots the parent of a student outside of a middle school following a confrontation.

The fatal shooting happened Jan. 11 at Cascade Middle School in Eugene, following a custodial dispute involving 30-year-old Charles Landeros. The video was released Thursday after the Lane County district attorney ruled that the officer’s use of deadly force was justified.

Landeros’ family, however, said in a statement via their attorney that they will be conducting their own investigation “to review the use of deadly force that resulted in the tragic death of their loved one.”

“We know this is a complex situation and that these situations often involve split-second decisions that are not fully appreciated simply by watching a video,” the family said, adding: “The video, and the accompanying statement from the DA’s office do not change the fact that many in the community are still grieving and that Charlie’s daughters are now without their father.”

The incident began when Landeros’ ex-wife went to the school after learning that Landeros had enrolled their child into the middle school without her permission, the DA’s office said in a press release.

The school told Landeros — an Army veteran who served from 2006 to 2012 and was honorably discharged — to come to the school, and also called the school resource officer Steve Timm.

When Timm learned that “there was a custody dispute occurring,” he called Eugene Police Officer Aaron Johns for assistance, according to the release.

The video shows the two officers in the school’s hallway ordering Landeros to leave the building.

“The police do not have jurisdiction over here. The principal has not asked me to leave,” Landeros says, before appearing to walk away from the officers.

As the officers were trying to get Landeros to leave the building, the child walked into the hallway. Landeros started yelling at the child to “go,” according to the DA’s office.

The video shows one of the officers grabbing and pushing Landeros out a door. Police then announce they’re arresting Landeros.

During a struggle, Landeros pulled out a handgun and fired two shots at Timm, the DA’s office said. Timm, who was not wounded, returned fire, striking Landeros in the head.

Authorities said students were in the hallway and in a nearby classroom during the altercation. Two people at the school, as well as Landeros’ child, witnessed the shooting, the DA’s office said.

An investigation following the shooting found that Landeros was carrying an extra magazine with ammunition on Landeros’ belt and another in the car, authorities said. Landeros was also wearing a backpack that contained additional ammunition, authorities said.

Officer Timm saved the life of Officer Johns, himself and perhaps many others,” the DA’s office ruled. “There is no clearer circumstance that the use of deadly force is justified than this.”

On the same day that the Squirrel Hill synagogue shooter killed 11 people, a law abiding gun owner prevented a massacre at a McDonald’s in Birmingham, Alabama

On the same day that a scumbag shot and killed 11 innocent people at a synagogue in Squirrel Hill, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a different scumbag tried to carry out a mass shooting at a McDonald’s in Birmingham, Alabama. But he was stopped by a good guy with a gun. The only person who died was the bad guy.

Here’s another similar comparison:

In January 2015 in France, in response to cartoons that made fun of the Islamic prophet Mohammed, Islamic terrorists shot and killed 12 people.  The police who were sent to stop them were unable to do so, because the police were unarmed.

France’s extensive gun control laws did not stop the bad guys from getting guns. But the country’s extreme anti-gun mentality did prevent the police – the police of all people – from having guns.

Four months later, Islamic terrorists tried to carry out a mass shooting at a draw Mohammed cartoon contest in Texas. However, law abiding gun owners stopped the terrorists. The only people who got killed were the terrorists.

And here’s another comparison:

When Barack Obama was an Illinois state Senator, he voted against allowing people in their own homes to use guns to protect themselves and their families from rapists and murderers.

However, as President, Obama allowed one of his Secret Service agents to shoot an armed man who was outside the White House.

Meanwhile, even the most anti-gun liberals have not called for Obama to be prosecuted for being an accessory to the murder of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

Likewise, even the most anti-gun liberals have not called for an end to armed Secret Service agents protecting ex-President Obama 24 hours a day.

Everyone is against murder.

Why are some liberals against self defense?

And why do these liberals who oppose self defense make an exception when the person being protected is a liberal politician?

A mass shooting in my own neighborhood

This morning, when I was in my apartment (which does not face the street) and I heard a very long succession of sirens from emergency vehicles going by, I suspected that something really horrible had happened, and the only possibility that entered my mind was either a bombing or a mass shooting at one of the nearby synagogues.

With large crowds of people, including large numbers of women and children, all together in an enclosed space, I’d thought for years that something like this could happen. But I never thought it would happen.

They still haven’t published the victims’ names, pending notification of their families.

I’m 47, and I’ve lived in Squirrel Hill my entire life. I’m hoping for at least another 47 years in this neighborhood. It’s too bad some scumbag deprived at least 11 of my neighbors from living out their lives. I don’t understand why anyone would do this.

Trump should prosecute Barack Obama and Eric Holder for Brian Terry’s murder

In Operation Fast and Furious, the Obama administration ordered gun storeowners to illegally sell thousands of guns to criminals.

U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered with one of these guns.

The murderer was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but his accomplices, Barack Obama and Eric Holder, haven’t even been arrested or charged.

In May 2016, it was reported that newly released documents from the Department of Justice suggested that guns from Obama’s Fast And Furious program had been linked to at least 69 killings by Mexican drug cartels.

In September 2012, Obama said that Fast and Furious had “begun under the previous administration.” In reality, Fast and Furious began in October 2009.

Bush and Obama each had a program where the U.S. government put guns into the hands of Mexican criminals. Bush’s program was called “Operation Wide Receiver,” and Obama’s program was called “Operation Fast and Furious.” However, there were three major differences between the two programs:

First, Bush’s program was carried out with the knowledge, permission, and cooperation of the Mexican government, whereas Obama’s program was not. Mexican attorney general Marisela Morales told the Los Angeles Times that she first learned about Obama’s program from the news, and said, “In no way would we have allowed it, because it is an attack on the safety of Mexicans.”

Secondly, many of the guns used in Bush’s program contained radio tracking devices, whereas most of the guns used in Obama’s program did not. In addition, under Bush’s program, U.S. federal agents followed the guns to see whose hands they ended up in, whereas with Obama’s program, U.S. federal agents were ordered not to do this.

Third, Bush’s program did not cause any known deaths, whereas Obama’s program did.

In April 2016, it was reported that the Department of Justice had illegally ignored a court order to turn over certain Fast and Furious documents.

In October 2013, the ACLU announced that it would be defending John Dodson’s first amendment right to free speech, against the Obama administration, which was trying to prevent Dodson from publishing a book about Obama’s Fast and Furious scandal.

Obama illegally ignored Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information requests regarding Fast and Furious.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder illegally refused to release 1,300 pages of information on Operation Fast and Furious, even after he had been subpoenaed to do so.

On October 3, 2011, CBS News aired a story by Sharyl Attkisson which showed that Attorney General Eric Holder had lied under oath regarding Fast and Furious. The report can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JaDEShZIvQ

On October 4, 2011, Holder’s top press aide, Tracy Schmaler, wrote the following in an email to White House Deputy Press Sectary Eric Schultz:

“I’m also calling Sharryl’s [sic] editor and reaching out to Scheiffer. She’s out of control.”

Schultz responded with an email that said:

“Good. Her piece was really bad for the AG.”

Afterward, CBS made it harder and harder for Attkisson to do reports on Fast and Furious, and she eventually quit her job at CBS.

Using a gun for self defense is real female empowerment in action, and I invite anti-gun activists and left wing feminists to explain why this particular example should be illegal

I’ve posted this meme before – it’s one of my favorites. (I would give credit to the person who created it, but I don’t know who that is.)

Update: Thanks to gdruzek for posting the following in the comment section:

The lady is Betty and the photographs are by Oleg Volk. I hope you can amend your article to reflect that. Oh, and he also writes for the Dillon Precision “Blue Press.”

I used google and found this link, which does indeed give Oleg Volk credit for the image:

http://www.militia-of-florida.com/rkba_images2/index2.html

This article from Fox News descrbes a real life example of the meme in action. You can even see it in the security video at the link (which can’t be embedded here.)

And please note that the trigger was never pulled. Just showing the gun was enough to scare the bad guy away.

In the video, the guy is clearly pissed off that the woman had a gun.

This is real female empowerment in action, and I can’t understand why anyone who calls themself a feminist would be against it.

If anyone here opposes the use of a gun in this particular instance, then please offer an alternative (in the comment section) for what the innocent people should have done instead. And please keep in mind that during the several minutes it takes for the police to respond, this scumbag could have killed this innocent person.

Watch: Pistol-packing waitress defends George Webb co-worker during attack

July 8, 2018

A waitress with a concealed carry permit defended her co-worker after an irate customer went behind the counter and punched her, newly released video reveals.

The attack at George Webb restaurant in Milwaukee on June 28 could have been much worse, according to Alderman Bob Donovan, who made the footage public.

I thank God the other waitress had a concealed carry weapon, has a permit… I shudder to think, had she not been there and had she not had this weapon, what this guy might have done,” Donovan told Fox 6.

The suspect, who is a regular at the restaurant and reportedly had been cursing at his server throughout the night for taking too long with his order, came behind the counter and punched her in the face.

Within seconds, the woman’s colleague pulled out a handgun from her waistband and pointed at him until he backed off.

Although the suspect has not been arrested, Fox 6 reports that Milwaukee police know who they are looking for and that the man is allegedly a drug dealer.

According to local media, the victim is back at work and she said the restaurant’s owner allows employees to carry a concealed weapon as long as they have a permit.

“It is sickening to see this unsuspecting worker assaulted so brutally by this individual,” Donovan said. “For a man to do that to some innocent woman, it’s just beyond me.”

Mark Keith Robinson gives a brilliant speech in defense of law abiding gun owners

Mark Keith Robinson is a law abiding citizen who lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. In front of his city council, he recently gave this four minute speech defending law abiding gun owners.

This is one of the best arguments in favor of law abiding gun owners that I have ever heard.

Please show this to everyone you know, and help make it go viral!

Attention teen protestors: YOUR texting and driving kills 269 times as many people as school shootings!

Wikipedia has this comprehensive, well documented article called “List of school shootings in the United States.”

School shootings are so rare and infrequent that it wouldn’t be good to just look at any one year, so I’m going to look at all the school shootings from  January 1, 1999 (the year of the Columbine massacre, which is often cited as the beginning of the “modern” era of school shootings) and go up until March 20, 2018, which is the most recent school shooting (Great Mills, Maryland) on the chart.

From January 1, 1999 until March 20, 2018 is a time period of 7019 days.

During those 7019 days, a total of 286 people were killed in school shootings.

That works out to 0.0408 people killed per day in school shootings.

Meanwhile, according to the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, texting and driving kills an average of 11 teenagers every day.

This means that your texting and driving kills 269 times as many people as school shootings.

Philadelphia councilwoman Cindy Bass introduces bill that would force Asian shopkeepers to remove their bulletproof glass

Despite the fact that bulletproof glass has saved the lives of Asian shopkeepers, Philadelphia councilwoman Cindy Bass has introduced a bill that would force them to remove it.

The Asian shopkeepers claim the bill is racist. Bass says they are mistaken.

But Bass hasn’t offered any other explanation for her proposal, other than to say that she wants to “control” these stores, which she claims are a “source of trouble.”

I’d say the real “source of trouble” is the criminals who try to shoot and stab the employees of these stores.

And banning bulletproof glass will make that problem bigger, not smaller.

Controversial bill would force business owners to take down bulletproof glass

November 27, 2017

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) – A controversial bill is currently working its way through city hall designed to regulate ‘stop and go’ liquor stores. One part of the bill would force business owners to take down bulletproof glass inside their stores. But at what cost to their safety?

Broad Deli sits on the corner of the 2200 block of North Broad, inside a wall of bulletproof glass separates customers from workers.

“The most important thing is safety and the public’s safety,” owner Rich Kim said.

Rich Kim’s family has run the deli, which sells soda, snacks, meals and beer by the can for 20 years. He says the glass went up after a shooting and claims it saved his mother-in-law from a knife attack. Now, he may be forced to take some of the barrier down.

“If the glass comes down, the crime rate will rise and there will be lots of dead bodies,” he said.

A bill moving through city council reads: “No establishment shall erect or maintain a physical barrier.”

It’s called the ‘Stop and Go’ bill and is being offered by city councilwoman Cindy Bass.

“Right now, the plexiglass has to come down,” she said.

She wants to put some controls on these small stores that she says sell booze, very little food and are the source of trouble in her district.

Rich Kim resents the charge stores like his attract loiters and argues calls to police are often met with a slow response.

Mike Choe runs a non-profit supporting Korean-owned businesses. He plans on raising $100,000 to fight the measure.

“I do think it’s a bad bill that will endanger Korean Americans,’ he said.

Bass says she’s battling for her constituents.

Kim argues as a Korean-American he’s being targeted.

“This bill targets Korean Americans,” Cole asked. Bass responded, “Absolutely not. I find that offensive.”

When will liberals who claim to oppose illegal guns call for the prosecution of gun criminals Barack Obama and Eric Holder?

Morgan Freeman talks about some interesting scientific experiments with guns

The YouTube video below is an episode of the science TV program Through the Wormhole. This episode is called “Is Gun Crime a Virus?” It’s from season 8, and originally aired just a few months ago. Morgan Freeman is both the narrator and the executive producer.

I listened to (but did not watch, as it’s rotated 90 degrees, and is also cropped) the entire video.

Here are three interesting studies from the video that I’d like to mention:

1) In a driving simulator, people drove more aggressively when a gun was placed on the passenger seat, as compared to when a control object (a tennis racket) was placed on the passenger seat. (skip to 26:46)

2) In real world driving, a driver in a pickup truck deliberately stopped at a stop sign for 12 seconds. Sometimes the truck had a rifle on a gun rack, and sometimes it did not. When there was a rifle, the drivers behind the truck behaved more aggressively compared to the control group where there was no rifle. (skip to 28:39)

3) Among minors in prison for violent felony, some were given “decompression therapy,” and some were not. After they got out of prison, those who did not receive the therapy killed 16 people, while those who did receive the therapy killed no one. (skip to 37:15)
