Attention left wing idiots! Tianna Arata was not arrested for “protesting,” which is 100% legal, and protected by the first amendment. She was arrested because she broke the law. She illegally blocked traffic, illegally imprisoned motorists, and illegally used a flagpole to hit a car.

I was just glancing down the yahoo.com home page for interesting news articles to read, and I came across this one, which is called

“Tianna Arata, a BLM Organizer, Is Facing 15 Years in Prison for Protesting. Here’s How You Can Help Her”

That title of the article is bogus.

Tianna Arata was not arrested for “protesting.”

Protesting is 100% legal, and protected by the first amendment.

Arata was arrested because she broke the law.

That’s according to this other article from the San Luis Obispo Tribune, which cites the real reasons why Arata was arrested.

In San Luis Obispo County, California, Arata led a group of people where she and they broke a state law which prohibits people from walking

“upon any roadway outside of a business or residence district otherwise than close to his or her left-hand edge of the roadway”

Arata was also arrested for “unlawful imprisonment” because people, under Arata’s leadership, illegally stood in the street and prevented automobiles from moving.

Arata was also arrested because she illegally used a flagpole to hit an automobile.

All of these things are crimes.

Despite Arata having committed these crimes, a petition at change.org has gotten 262,929 signature (as of early August 12, 2020)) in support of Arata and against her arrest. (The incident happened on July 21, 2020.)

To the degree that Arata broke the law, I hope that she gets prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

In Washington D.C., left wing protestors can burn, vandalize, and loot without getting arrested. Meanwhile, right wing protestors were arrested for writing on a public sidewalk with chalk.

According to this article from the Washington Post, this is what left wing protestors did in Washington D.C. without getting arrested:

Night of destruction across D.C.

June 1, 2020

American flags and parked cars and buildings were lit ablaze — including St. John’s Church, a historic landmark opened in 1816 and attended by every president since James Madison. Firefighters quickly extinguished the basement fire, which police said was intentionally set…

Downtown, baseball bats bashed through windows at coffee shops, banks and one office building after another. Vandals and looters roamed throughout the city, scrawling graffiti and targeting dozens of businesses…

Some hit a liquor store near Foggy Bottom, where young men, both white and black, snatched handles of alcohol and took swigs while others ran off with all they could carry. In Shaw, a Giant grocery store — with employees still inside — was broken into, as was a Sephora in Gallery Place. On H Street NE, looters ransacked a CVS. In Georgetown, the Nike store’s boarded-up doors were broken down and its merchandise plundered. In Friendship Heights and Tenleytown, five miles from the White House, other groups hit a Target and smashed open Rodman’s, a beloved drugstore, specialty grocer and housewares shop — all in one.

Near 15th and H streets, another group set fire to a sandwich shop… The smell of fire hung heavy in the air, and shattered glass speckled the pavement. Gone were the windows of the Lafayette Building, home to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Next door, all the outdoor umbrellas at the Opaline Bar and Brasserie were warped and charred. As police and firefighters showed up to investigate, the destruction continued around them, the looters uncaring.

Meanwhile, according to this other article from the Washington Post, in the same city, right wing protestors were arrested for writing on a public sidewalk with chalk:

Two protesters arrested while chalking ‘Black Pre-Born Lives Matter’ on sidewalk

August 1, 2020

Two protesters outside a Planned Parenthood facility were arrested and charged with defacing public or private property early Saturday, according to D.C. police and video footage.

Erica Caporaletti, a 22-year-old student at Towson University, and Warner DePriest, a 29-year-old D.C. resident, were writing “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” with chalk on the sidewalk when police arrested them.

Sidewalk chalk does not cause any permanent damage. It easily washes off when it rains. They sell sidewalk chalk at the supermarket where I buy my groceries (the Giant Eagle in Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, PA). Children regularly use sidewalk chalk without getting arrested. This incident is the first time that I have ever, ever heard of anyone ever getting arrested for writing on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk.

It’s been over six years since Princeton professor Imani Perry called the police because I criticized her in a blog post. I have still not been arrested. But she has! Ain’t karma wonderful?

By Daniel Alman (aka Dan from Squirrel Hill)

February 25, 2020

In July 2013, I wrote this blog post where I criticized a section of this article, which had been written by Imani Perry, a professor of African-American Studies at Princeton University.

After I wrote that blog post, I wrote the following email to Dr. Perry:

“I welcome you to show this to your students and anyone else whom you think might like to read it and comment on it.”

Dr. Perry responded to my email by writing the following email to me:

“I will be reporting you to the police for harassment.”

Prior to this, I had thought that Ivy League universities only hired professors who were interested in having discussions and debates over topics with which they disagreed. It had never occurred to me that one of them would call the police simply because someone disagreed with something that they had said.

Which is why I was totally shocked to find out that Dr. Perry had called the police on me.

Well, it’s been more than six years since Dr. Perry called the police on me, and I still haven’t been arrested.

In the meantime, I recently did some googling to see what Dr. Perry has been up to.

And it turns out that Dr. Perry herself has been arrested!

It actually happened four years ago, but I just found out about it now.

In February 2016, the New York Times reported:

The police in Princeton, N.J., released a dashboard video of the traffic stop of a black Princeton professor…

The video shows what appears to be a routine traffic stop with the professor, Imani Perry… She was then arrested…

After pulling Dr. Perry over, the male officer told her he had clocked her driving at 67 miles per hour in a 45-m.p.h. zone…

Fifteen minutes elapsed before the officer returned to her car to tell Dr. Perry that her license had been suspended…

About two minutes later, the officer returned to tell her she had a warrant out for her arrest over a parking offense from 2013.

Ain’t karma wonderful?

2 white UConn students arrested after video showed them shouting racial slurs

2 white UConn students arrested after video showed them shouting racial slurs

Students on campus demanded action after video of the incident surfaced, saying it is indicative of broader issues of racism at the school.

October 22, 2019

Two white students at the University of Connecticut were arrested Monday after video that showed them shouting racial slurs prompted campus protests, university police told NBC News.

Jarred Mitchell Karal, 21, and Ryan Gilman Mucaj, 21, face charges of ridicule on account of race, color, or creed. They were released with a court date set for Oct. 30 at Rockville Superior Court in Vernon, Connecticut.

Karal and Mucaj’s charges could result in a $50 fine or up to 30 days in jail.

NBC sent emails to the two men Tuesday morning requesting comment but did not immediately hear back.

Campus police learned of the incident from social media footage showing Karal and Mucaj shouting epithets in an apartment complex parking lot, a university spokesperson told NBC News. The men were playing a game that involved yelling vulgar words, university police said, and then started shouting epithets. Karal and Mucaj were walking with a third man, whom police said did not shout epithets and was not charged.

The Oct. 11 incident sparked an outcry on campus, particularly from some black students who said it was indicative of broader issues of racism at the university.

“To just experience that on a daily basis and then having something that gets out to the public that everybody can see and understand, it’s really impactful for the rest of us,” freshman Mason Holland told NBC Connecticut.

The university last week organized a meeting at the apartment complex where the slurs were heard to discuss the incident.

On campus Monday, students marched to demand further action from the university, and they met at a gathering hosted by the campus NAACP chapter to discuss the climate for students of color on campus.

In a letter published in the student paper Monday, the NAACP also demanded that the university take action after the parking lot incident and another that allegedly occurred at a fraternity.

“If the university does not adequately address and handle these occurrences of racism appropriately, it will create a culture in which racism is tolerated and normalized,” the organization wrote, adding a list of demands aimed at making the campus safer and more welcoming to black students.

In a statement, University President Thomas C. Katsouleas said it was important to hold Karal and Mucaj accountable for their actions.

“It is supportive of our core values to pursue accountability, through due process, for an egregious assault on our community that has caused considerable harm,” he said. “I’m grateful for the university’s collective effort in responding to this incident, especially the hard work of the UConn Police Department, which has been investigating the case since it was reported.”

Bryan Sharpe, a black conservative, explains why he guilted Starbucks into giving him free coffee

This guy is brilliant and hilarious!

In this video, a black guy tells a white Starbucks employee that the company is giving free coffee to black people as reparations. The employee says it’s true – and that she had read it on her Twitter the previous evening. After the black guy gets his free coffee, he gives it away to a stranger:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-HrbZ3cpwg

It turns out that the black guy is a conservative named Bryan Sharpe. He says he did what he did to make fun of liberals. He also says that liberals only give voice to blacks who are liberal. I guess that’s why he was interviewed by Fox News, and no other TV network.

Here are his exact words:

“I am sick and tired of liberals using black people and making us look like victims, making us look soft with their liberal dogma. It is disgusting. The other thing I hate about liberals is, if you are a black man as I am, in America, they will not hand you a microphone unless you follow the liberal narrative. And I said, you know what, I bet if I go into Starbucks and I follow a liberal narrative, I’ll make the news. And voilà, here I am.”

Skip to 0:48 in this video of his interview with Laura Ingraham on Fox News to hear him say those words:
