Obama fraudulently declares meadow jumping mouse “endangered” in order to hurt ranchers

On May 24, 2014, Wikipedia’s article on the meadow jumping mouse stated:

The meadow jumping mouse (Zapus hudsonius) is the most widely distributed mouse in the subfamily Zapodinae. It may be found from the Atlantic coast, to the Great Plains, as far north as the arctic tree lines in Canada and Alaska, and as far south as Georgia, Alabama, Arizona, and New Mexico.

The meadow jumping mouse is currently not in any kind of danger. According to the IUCN Red list, it is widely spread, common, and not declining throughout most of its extensive range. It is also present in many protected areas, and so does not have any major threats of it becoming an endangered species.

However, on July 3, 2014, the Daily Caller reported:

Feds Declare Mouse Endangered, Family Might Lose Everything

A family’s livestock enterprise in New Mexico is in danger of being completely shut down now that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has declared the meadow jumping mouse to be an endangered species…

The new regulations came into effect from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service last month, and as a result, the U.S. Forest Service is considering installing 8-foot high fences to protect the mouse, which would permanently prevent the Lucero family’s livestock from grazing.

The family is already in possession of grazing permits from the federal government, but the permits become irrelevant in the event that a new species is declared endangered.

The Lucero family has had their livestock graze on the land in the Santa Fe National Forest for more than a century, starting first with sheep, but then switching to cattle in the 1920s.

Obama’s declaration of this animal as being “endangered” is contrary to all scientific evidence, and is just a cover for his war on ranchers.

This little regulation here, that little regulation there until Ohbongo has tied up America into a dysfunctional mess! We may already be there. The curbs resulting from the “Snail Darter” restrictions on nuclear power plants falls into this same nonsense as the damn mouse. I hope all of you morons who support this idiocy are directly affected by power shut downs on the hottest days of the year.

The next President should just take a total broad action against every decision made by Ohbongo, and especially the EPA. Just cancel them all out, and let’s start over with some rationality.

Obama waging war upon farmers and ranchers.
Like the smelt fish in the Sacramento River delta huge water supply source sent to Kern County to water farms and ranches, Obama declares the fish an endangered species (though nobody can trace the fish species back to prove it is a native species). Obama did not transplant the species to a safe permanent alternative location to solve the problem. Obama (the Manchurian candidate in action) chooses the path that causes the greatest economic collapse in the U.S.. Obama when taken to court over the delta smelt fish is told by the court that in the judges opinion this is the worst and flimsiest case the judge has seen.
Obama’s BLM goes and ILLEGALLY steals and kills the ranchers cattle in Arizona. Obama idiot was found to have FAILED to first obtain a lien before taking custody of property.
Now we have a jumping (bean) mouse also of questionable origin and also probably not native to the region but used by Obama to inflict all the nongovernmental financial damage Obama can inflict on this class of victims of Obama. That should be enough for a competent lawyer to put together a successful case against Obama’s class of actions against this member of the whole class.

Oops, I retract my comment regarding if the species is native as it appears that it is. As Dan’s information is probably correct (as I haven’t found any exceptions yet) it appears that Obama is being really reckless in their actions by picking on what appears to be the financially helpless smaller ranch size if rancher.

Oddly enough after reading this, I came across this:

Its a brilliant strategy really. Itll fly well under the radar of most Americans, and would quietly continue the slow operation of centralizing federal authority over everything. Genius.
