Obama secretly gave military equipment to Russia after Russia invaded Ukraine

Judicial Watch reports that the Obama administration had secretly given military equipment to Russia after Russia invaded Ukraine.

I wonder what makes Obama’s supporters happier -  the fact that he gave Russia this military aid after it invaded Ukraine, or the fact that he kept it a secret.

Of course if a Republican president did this, the so-called “peace activists” and “anti-war activists” would be livid with protest. But since Obama is a Democrat, they don’t mind at all. I’m sure they’d happily elect him for a third term if he wasn’t term limited by the Constitution.

Obama orders high school to undo improvements that parents made to bleachers

Uh uh. Too many parents decided to do something to improve the bleachers at their children’s school. Better cancel the improvements, and bring things back to the lowest common denominator. Who needs improvements anyway?

The Daily Caller Reports:

Equality! DOJ says boys’ baseball field is nicer than girls’ field, must die

The U.S. Department of Justice determined that a Michigan high school broke federal civil rights law by allowing its boys’ baseball team to fix up its athletic field, making it nicer than the field belonging to the girls’ softball team–even though the improvements were paid for privately.

To avoid a fine, Plymouth Canton Community Schools had no choice but to take down the new bleachers and scoreboard, which had been paid for through a private fundraising drive.

Six years ago, parents complained that the seating at boys’ baseball games was inadequate.

“It’s hard to watch the game through the black chain link face, so we created our seating deck to sit above,” said parent Dan Gilbert in an interview with FOX 2 news.

Gilbert and other parents installed and paid for the new seats themselves. They were put in years ago. The parents also bought a new scoreboard.

Obamacare author says it will cause most employers to stop offering insurance

Before Obamacare was passed, Obama said:

“No matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise to the American people… If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.”

A video of Obama making this promise more than 20 different times can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCUpJDzyRnY

However, just now – four years after Obama signed Obamacare, and more than a year after the 2012 election, the New York Times is reporting that one of the authors of Obamacare is saying that it will cause most employers to stop offering insurance. The New York Times reports:

Why Employers Will Stop Offering Health Insurance

March 26, 2014

Here’s a prediction: By 2025, “fewer than 20 percent of workers in the private sector will receive traditional employer-sponsored health insurance.” The source of this claim? Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel, in his just-published book, “Reinventing American Health Care.”

Dr. Emanuel is an accomplished oncologist, medical ethicist and academic (and contributing opinion writer to The New York Times). And, of course, he’s no stranger to politics: He helped craft the Affordable Care Act as a health policy adviser to the Obama administration, when his brother, Rahm, now the mayor of Chicago, was chief of staff.

… he argues, the so-called Cadillac tax on especially generous health plans, set to take effect in 2018, will help pave the way by discouraging companies from offering those plans.

This is typical of the sneaky, underhanded, lying Obama and his entire administration. In order to get a law passed, and in order to get elected, Obama lies about what he will do in the future. Then in the future, only after the legislation has passed, and only after Obama has won the election, do we find out the truth.

It’s also typical of the biased, Obama supporting, mainstream media, which refused to analyze the Obamacare legislation to discover this information on their own.  If the New York Times had done its job properly, they would have had their legal experts read and analyze the Obamacare legislation four years ago, and would have reported at that time that it would cause most employers to stop offering insurance. But the New York Times did not do its job. Instead, they allowed Obama to go unchallenged in his repeated lies that people could keep their insurance. And now that the New York Times is finally reporting this information, it’s too late for anyone to do anything about it – Obamacare has already passed, and Obama has already run in as many elections as he is allowed.

Obama illegally gives unions an exemption from Obamacare’s “reinsurance” tax

Obamacare includes a so-called “reinsurance” tax.

In March 2014, Obama gave unions an exemption from this tax.

This was illegal for two reasons.

First, Obama made this change without approval from Congress.

And second, the Constitution requires that laws apply equally to everyone.

Obama gave Oregon $304 million to build its defective Obamacare website that enrolled zero people

Obama gave Oregon $304 million to build its defective Obamacare website. As of February 28, 2014, exactly zero people had signed up at Oregon’s Obamacare website.

I am not at all, in any way, surprised by this.

Given all of the many, many, many other things that Obama has done, I actually expect things like this to happen.

What I don’t expect is for Obama to do anything about it. Sure, he may pay lip service, and pretend to get all angry and upset. But in the end, he won’t ask for the money back, he won’t fire anyone, and he won’t prosecute anyone for fraud.

A convicted terrorist who murdered two people was hired as an Obamacare “navigator” because Obama thinks background checks are “racist”

In Israel, Rasmieh Yousef Odeh was convicted of putting a bomb in a box of candy on a grocery store shelf, which killed two people. In 2013, she was hired as an Obamacare “navigator.”

Although Obamacare “navigators” have access to people’s personal, private, and financial information, they are not subject to federal background checks, because Obama considers background checks to be “racist.” Some Obamacare “navigators” had been previously convicted of forgery.

The Obama administration accused Pepsico of “race discrimination” because it used criminal background checks to screen out job applicants.

The Obama administration filed lawsuits against Dollar General and BMW for using criminal background checks to screen employees. The Obama administration claimed that such background checks were “racist.”

The Obama administration accused fire and police departments in Jacksonville, Florida, New York City, and Dayton, Ohio of “racial discrimination” because they required potential firefighters and police officers to take a written test. Ten real examples of these “racist” questions from the New York test can be read here.

In order to do their job effectively, U.S. marines must be strong enough to carry their wounded comrades off the battlefield. But Commander-in-Chief Obama considers this requirement to be “sexist,” so he eliminated it.

New York Times and Ralph Nader criticize Obama for illegally seizing private property and violating disclosure laws

The New York Times and Ralph Nader have recently criticized President Obama for illegally seizing assets from shareholders of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and for illegally avoiding disclosing this information to shareholders.

The fifth amendment requires that compensation be given for such seizures, but Obama did not do this.

Federal disclosure laws require that shareholders be informed of this information immediately, but Obama waited more than three years to tell them.

Neither of these actions by Obama surprises me one bit. These things are consistent with his many, many, many other illegal activities. He has no respect for the rule of law, the constitution, private property, or individual liberty.

The New York Times reports:

Would you buy stock in a company that barred you from sharing in its future earnings? Of course not. Participating in the upside is what stock ownership is all about.

And yet, as of December 2010, holders of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac common stock were subject to such a restriction by the United States government. They didn’t know it at the time, though, because the policy was not disclosed.

This month, an internal United States Treasury memo that outlined this restriction came up at a forum in Washington.

The memo was addressed to Timothy F. Geithner, then the Treasury secretary, from Jeffrey A. Goldstein, then the under secretary for domestic finance. In discussing Fannie and Freddie, the beleaguered government-sponsored enterprises rescued by taxpayers in September 2008, the memo referred to “the administration’s commitment to ensure existing common equity holders will not have access to any positive earnings from the G.S.E.’s in the future.”

The memo, which was produced in a lawsuit filed by Fannie and Freddie shareholders, was dated Dec. 20, 2010. Securities laws require material information — that is, information that might affect an investor’s view of a company — to be disclosed. That the government would deny a company’s shareholders all its profits certainly seems material, but the existence of this policy cannot be found in the financial filings of Fannie Mae. Neither have the Treasury’s discussions about the future of the two finance giants mentioned the administration’s commitment to shut common stockholders out of future earnings.

Ralph Nader wrote:

“What legal authority does the Administration have, as this section of the memo intimates, to completely wipe out shareholders — even after taxpayers have been repaid (as is likely to happen soon)?”

“Contrary to this statement, neither the memo — nor Treasury’s actions by unilaterally amending the PSPAs — leaves one with the impression that this point in the memo is meant to highlight the importance of repaying the taxpayers. It seems to be setting a precedent for using and abusing the GSEs’ shareholders.”

“Taxpayers should recoup their investment in the GSEs; but the Administration does not have to wipe out shareholders in order for this to happen.”

“This need not be an issue of choosing taxpayers over shareholders. The federal government has similarly recouped taxpayer money used to bailout other corporations (A.I.G., Citigroup, etc.) involved in the financial collapse, but has allowed the shareholders of those companies to share in their recovery. The same should be the case with the GSEs.”

Obama administration falsely says “there is absolutely no evidence” of any job loss related to Obamacare

The New York Times recently reported:

The Obama administration says “there is absolutely no evidence” of any job loss related to the Affordable Care Act.

Obama is lying.

In November 2012, in response to the Obamacare’s medical device tax, some medical device manufacturers announced plans to layoff employees, including Welch Allyn (275 planned layoffs), Stryker (1,170 planned layoffs), and Medtronic (1,000 planned layoffs).

In December 2012, Al Franken, Elizabeth Warren, John Kerry, and 15 other Democratic hypocrites who supported the passage of Obamacare wrote a letter to Harry Reid, asking him to delay the tax on medical devices, claiming that the tax would hurt job creation in their districts.

But now Obama is claiming that those layoffs never happened.

Note that Franken, Warren, Kerry, and those other hypocrite Democrats aren’t worried about job losses for the country in general. Instead, their only concern is the job losses in their own districts. Meanwhile, conservatives and libertarians are worried about Obamacare causing job losses in the entire country. This is why conservatives and libertarians want Obamacare to be repealed, whereas those Democrats support Obamacare, but want waivers for their own special interests. What hypocrites.

Among those who signed that letter, Elizabeth Warren especially deserves to be called out, because liberals have been saying that she is different than other politicians, that she doesn’t cater to corporations – and yet here she is, trying to get a special exemption for those very same corporations. In reality, it seems that Warren is just as much of a corporate stooge as any other politician.

Obama knows what whatever you tax, you get less of, which is precisely why he raised the cigarette tax in 2009. So surely, he knew that creating a medical device tax would destroy jobs in the medical device industry. And yet he falsely claims that no jobs were lost.

I’m not surprised that Obama made this false claim about there being no job losses due to Obamacare – the list of Obama’s lies keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Obama plans to illegally put government bureaucrats inside TV stations and newspaper offices to monitor their activities

Ajit Pai, a commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission, recently wrote the following in the Wall St. Journal:

Last May the FCC proposed an initiative to thrust the federal government into newsrooms across the country. With its “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” or CIN, the agency plans to send researchers to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run.

… the FCC’s queries may be hard for the broadcasters to ignore. They would be out of business without an FCC license…

… why does the CIN study include newspapers when the FCC has no authority to regulate print media?

The Washington Examiner recently wrote:

The First Amendment says “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press…” But under the Obama administration, the Federal Communications Commission is planning to send government contractors into the nation’s newsrooms to determine whether journalists are producing articles, television reports, Internet content, and commentary that meets the public’s “critical information needs.” Those “needs” will be defined by the administration, and news outlets that do not comply with the government’s standards could face an uncertain future. It’s hard to imagine a project more at odds with the First Amendment.

If the FCC goes forward, it’s not clear what will happen to news organizations that fall short of the new government standards. Perhaps they will be disciplined. Or perhaps the very threat of investigating their methods will nudge them into compliance with the administration’s journalistic agenda. What is sure is that it will be a gross violation of constitutional rights.

MSNBC’s Obama poll does not include any choices for people who disagree with him

MSNBC just published this article titled “Obama keeps promise to young men of color.”

The article states:

President Obama is expected to launch his most focused efforts to address the dire prospects of young men of color this week, a demographic far too often swept into cycles of poverty and the school-to-prison pipeline.

Obama will unveil details of a new initiative called “My Brother’s Keeper” on Thursday, which will draw on partnerships with foundations and businesses to target young men of color across the country with a range of opportunities and strategies to help bolster their lives.

The article includes the following poll:

msnbc poll on obama

The poll asks the following question, and includes the following three options as an answer:

What are your expectations for Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative?

It will make a difference.

Its success will depend on young men’s initiative.

Not sure.

All of those options are either positive or neutral.

There is no option for people who think that Obama’s proposal won’t do any good, or who think that it will cause more harm than good.

Obama claims he never said he wanted to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”

Five days before the 2008 election, Obama said:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

You can see and hear him saying those exact words in this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrefKCaV8m4

However, on February 2, 2014, Obama told Bill O’Reilly that he never said those words. Here is the transcript from the interview:

O’Reilly: OK. I got a letter from Kathy LaMaster, Fresno, California. I said I would read one letter from the folks, all right?

Obama: All right.

O’Reilly: “Mr. President, why do you feel it’s necessary to fundamentally transform the nation that has afforded you so much opportunity and success?”

Obama: I don’t think we have to fundamentally transform the nation.

O’Reilly: But those are your words.

So even though it’s on video that he said it, and even though his words have been widely quoted in many sources for years, he still insists that he never said it.

What does Obama’s denial say about his moral character? What can we say about someone who lies so casually about something which is so obviously false?

And what does it say about Obama’s estimation of the level of intelligence of the people to whom he is speaking? Does Obama really believe that people are so dumb that they would believe such an obvious lie?

This lie from Obama reminds me of George Orwell’s novel 1984, where the government was always rewriting history. But the difference is that in the book, every transcript and every video would have been edited to erase Obama’s remarks, whereas in real life, Obama does not have the ability to edit all of the transcripts and videos that are in existence. Orwell wrongly assumed that the government would be able to do this. But in reality, the government is a lot more like the idiotic, incompetent bureaucracy that’s shown in the movie Brazil.

I know a lot of highly intelligent people who voted for Obama. And even after he told huge numbers of lies during his first term, these highly intelligent people voted for Obama in his second election. I don’t think I will ever understand why such highly intelligent people voted for someone who is such an obvious pathological liar.

Obama has just made yet another illegal change to Obamacare

Like many of his other changes to Obamacare, Obama made this change without it being being approved by Congress, which is illegal.

The New York Times reports:

The “employer mandate,” which was originally supposed to take effect last month, had already been delayed to Jan. 1, 2015, and now the administration says that employers with 50 to 99 employees will not have to comply until 2016 — allowing Democrats to placate business concerns and pushing the issue well beyond this year’s midterm elections.

In addition, the administration said the requirement would be put into effect gradually for employers with 100 or more employees. Employers in this category will need to offer coverage to 70 percent of full-time employees in 2015 and 95 percent in 2016 and later years, or they will be subject to tax penalties.

Obama is a graduate of Harvard law school. In addition, he taught Constitutional law at the University of Chicago. Clearly, he must know that this change to Obamacare, as well as the others that he made without approval from Congress, are a violation of the Presidential oath that he took. And yet he made these changes anyway. His actions are grounds for impeachment.

If the next Republican president decided, without approval from Congress, to give everyone a permanent waiver from Obamacare, how could Democrats seriously argue against it, when they never criticized Obama for repeatedly changing Obamacare without approval from Congress?

Dinesh D’Souza was arrested for violating campaign finance laws. Why hasn’t Obama been arrested too?

More than 20 years ago when I was in college, I attended a speech by Dinesh D’Souza. He said that he was born in India, and that he had moved to the U.S. because he “wanted to live in a country where the poor people are fat.” I thought that he was brilliant.

D’Souza was recently arrested for violating campaign finance laws. Politico reported:

Dinesh D’Souza, the conservative author and political commentator, was arrested and indicted on charges of campaign finance fraud on Thursday.

In a statement, U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s office said that D’Souza made “illegal contributions to a United States Senate campaign in the names of others” and “[caused] false statements to be made to the Federal Election Commission in connection with those contributions.”

If these accusations are true, then there is no excuse for what D’Souza did, and I hope he feels ashamed and embarrassed over it.

So why is it that Barack Obama has not been arrested for his own alleged violations of campaign finance laws?

Under Obama, the TSA harasses children, the elderly, and the disabled, but gives members of the Muslim Brotherhood a pass

The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization.

It was recently reported that in April 2012, the Obama administration allowed members of the Muslim Brotherhood to skip TSA screening.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration gave a very invasive patdown to a three-year-old boy in a wheelchair, which caused the boy to tremble in fear.

The Obama administration gave an aggressive patdown to a seven-year-old girl with cerebral palsy.

The Obama administration said that a four-year-old girl was a “high security threat.”

The Obama administration placed an 18-month-old girl on its no fly list.

The Obama administration gave a patdown to Henry Kissinger.

The Obama administration forced a 95-year-old cancer patient to remove her adult diaper and fly without it.

The Obama administration ripped open the urostomy bag of a 61-year-old bladder cancer survivor, and forced him to fly covered in his own urine.

The Obama administration harassed a sick 3-year-old boy, and caused him to miss his flight.

Under Obama, political correctness takes precedence over common sense.

Obama considers revoking trademark protection for the Washington Redskins’ name because some people said it was offensive

It was recently reported that the Obama administration was considering revoking trademark protection for the Washington Redskins’ name because some people said it was offensive.

This could set a horrible precedent.

Just about every R-rated movie includes content that someone would consider offensive, whether that content be violence, sex, profanity, etc. The same can be said for the content of many books, the lyrics of many songs, the content of many paintings, etc. If any copyright, patent, trademark, etc., can be revoked because someone finds it offensive, then I can’t even begin to imagine how much damage this would cause to the concept of intellectual property, as well as to the arts, sciences, music, literature, movies, etc.

There is no such thing as a right to not be offended. The whole point of protecting free speech in the first place is to protect speech that some people might find offensive. If we only protected speech that was dull, bland, and non-controversial, there wouldn’t be much point to having such protection in the first place.

Obama threatens to fine nuns over Obamacare’s birth control mandate, all the way to the Supreme Court

This is just sick. Sick, sick, sick.

Obama is a commie-fascist dictator, and I never use that term loosely.

Little Sisters of the Poor – now there’s a sweet name for a sweet group of ladies. Nuns, to be precise. And to be even more precise, nuns who run nursing homes for the old and the sick.

Obama doesn’t like letting these nuns practice their freedom of religion. He is threatening to fine them for violating Obamacare’s birth control mandate, and he’s taking his meddling all the way to the Supreme Court.

I hope the court rules 9-0 in favor of the nuns.
